I find it funny that trump attacks the threats to his presidency. first it was Biden, now it's Bloomberg, next will be Sanders, then it will be Klobuchar, then it will be Romney's dog because, well you know.

To keep you busy. It appears he gets a satisfying feeling from wasting other peoples time on issues they care about. This is a form of trolling indeed

I don't think so. He can only do it because we pay him the respect of a serious answer. We do that because sometimes he's serious and makes a good point, so we give him the benefit of the doubt at other times when its not clear yet.

If he would never be sincere and serious we wouldn't give him serious attention.

 

Just another item in the propagandist's bag of tricks. When challenged, split hairs. "It all depends on what the meaning of 'is' is. Really, he didn't actually say what you said he said, he just posted somebody else saying it.

 

It's not really a challenge to troll on a forum as long as the people you troll care about the subject. So its arguable if being the best at it is a worthy accomplishment, or mainly a solid affirmation a person cares most about annoying others and wasting their time... (likely out of their own annoyance for these people).

But he's wasting his own time, as well--and lots of it! By making his points by fallacious arguments and being generally obnoxious, he reinforces the impression that Trumpsters are boorish Troglydites and provides a foil by which the rest of us can show the folly of his positions without using a straw man. He's the straw man come to life!

 

He likely doesn't have a better way to spend it. Some people settle for this kind of fullfillment. So no, he's primarily wasting our time when he's trolling.
And when he acts frustrated when we won't take him serious when it counts is the epitome of stupidity, as it is self caused.
