That's funny, the DNC is bitching that tonight's debate is too white, and that the committee is racist for leaving out the candidates-of-color.

It's funny because they are calling their OWN party racist for picking the white ones in the primary. :tearsofjoy::tongueclosed:

The democrat party has a clear history of racism that they're trying to wipe clean via public school indoctrination

I'm not sure how exactly you can be so ill informed. Wouldn't do any good for anyone to try, so I'm certainly not going to.

Holy Shit! Warren just basically said that she's going to send a trans person to jail based on the gender they identify with......

A M2F trans in a female jail will overpower and possibly rape the female inmates. And if an F2M trans gets sent to a male jail, she will transition back to her biological gender sooo fast just to avoid the inevitable hell that she will face.

The trans lobby has lost their minds

The left claims to be all about the #metoo movement and protecting women from predators. But their priorities are all about putting men who identify as women, in the women's restroom and in women's prisions. So fucked up.

I would argue that that is changing, albeit slowly. I think there are more examples now than there used to be, and that it isn't enough. And perhaps not rugged, but we have like Ellen DeGeneres or Ruth Bader Ginsburg and several other women I could mention who are leaders (Kamala Harris imo). I think though that they are token (to use a term from Sociology of Race and Ethnic Groups) examples, and not a statement to the standard action or status quo.

I agree with you wholeheartedly, but I see it slowly improving with, for instance, the advent (har, punny) of the "Me Too" movement and downfall of folks like Harvey Weinstein who blatantly exploited and attempted to exploit (and worse) women.

    I don't totally understand. I like women... :D

You won't try because you've got nothing. So I'll take the liberty to inform you myself with a few true examples:

The first movie to be screened at the White House was "Birth of a Nation" a silent film based off the book the Klansman. A KKK movie promoted by then president Woodrow Wilson
100 years ago, the first White House film screening sparked nationwide protests

Franklin Roosevelt confiscated land and assets from Japanese Americans and put them in internment camps.

Hilary Clinton and Joe Biden’s mentor Robert Byrd was a grand wizard in the KKK

Democrats were the party that founded the KKK after the civil war. They were one of the first anti-second amendment organizations because they wanted to disarm black people to inflict terrorism upon them. This explains gun control’s deep seeded roots in the racist democrat party
The Racist Roots of Gun Control

After Brown vs. Board of Education, Democrat governor Orval Faubus ordered the state national guard to bully and bar students of color from entering white schools. It was Pres. Eisenhower who had to call the in federal troops and the Little Rock 9 to face in a standoff against racist Democrats like Faubus.

They don’t teach inconvenient facts like these in public schools because it might cause students to actually think critically and question authority.
Yeah, I’ll just file this under “Dumb things leftists believe.”

    No.

You don't like what is being taught in school because it threatens your narrative. You are basically throwing out the entire discipline as sociology saying that it's baseless because it has no foundation in hard science.

I don't think you studied. Honest.

Dude if you thought critically you would have taken the time to research this more and you would know that the "Dixiecrats" under the leadership of Strom Thurmond, split from the Democrats because of desegregation policies enforced under President Truman, a Democrat. The party continued to split when Democratic president Lyndon Johnson signed the Civil Rights Act in 1964. Ol' Barry Goldwater, a Republican, opposed the Civil Rights Act so many southern Democrats voted for him and then left the increasingly liberal Democrat party to join the increasingly conservative Republican party. The parties essentially switched ideologies after most of the southern Democrats joined the Republican party and it's the ideology that matters.
But you dont have to take my word for it, just look at the current members of Congress. Which party reflects the actual diversity of this country and which party reflects a homogenized 1950s ideal of what they want this country to be?

Ever notice how to find evidence of racism in the democratic party you have to go back decades? But to find evidence of racism in the republican party you just have to go back 5 minutes? Yes, Japanese American internment, the KKK, all of this is bad. But who is interring people of a certain racial demographic and joining the KKK today? Spoiler alert, it's not the democrats

  16. Not really, the democrats are famous for the soft racism of low expectations, something they do to this day. The voter ID issue is a prime example.

Your last line is humorous. Is the suggestion that it's not democrats supposed to mean that the only other option is republicans? Laughable. But then, so is assuming the KKK to be any sort of real threat. Regardless, those kooks don't support the American system and proudly admit as much.

Even David Duke said that Obama was perfectly safe since most of his ilk considered Obama to be exactly what the nation deserved, an impostor who was propped up to "make history" by somebody else's agenda.

  17. Here's an interesting couple of stories on Fox (yes, I KNOW, just clutch the pearls and push through). See if you notice what I did about them......

Start at time index 14:38 (the rest before that is fluff). But look at the story they segue into. I'd swear I just caught Fox pushing their stealth narrative!

Who knows? The ones she promised were: increase in the minimum wage to $12 and hour, eliminating tuition for in-state students at public colleges (for families making less than $125,000/yr, expanding the Affordable Care Act and including a public option, Increased infrastructure funding by $275 billion (thereby creating jobs), and no raise in middle class taxes.

Everybody has biases. Some people are/were able to accept diversity, some won't.
The bottom line in this country is that people want to live in the past because everything is black and white to them, and they don't have to think.
