It works the other way too though; where you have a clear majority that want something that is being blocked by a distinct minority. I see what you're saying. It works part of the time. :)

No one received a majority of the popular vote in 2016. What then?

I was listening to NPR, and they were interviewing people who went to Bernie's townhall in NYC.
The people were asked who they would vote for if Sanders doesn't get the nomination. Most said they would vote for Warren. When asked who they would vote for if Warren didn't get the nomination, some were noncommittal.
Begs the question, will they not vote again?

Feeling like Biden is only a mediocre choice, but the only one that can meet midway or at least sort of toward the aisle with the guys on the other side of it. On our site here, it's easy to lose sight of the importance of being able to communicate. We tend to be very vocally opposed to each other and opinionated; which is fine! But I feel like we should also be mindful/even considerate of others. Where does that leave the issues? Hopefully a middle ground can present itself. Admittedly I haven't seen it yet.

The other option is to further along my preferences by having them at the forefront of every discussion, only to fail in the Senate. With Warren, we'd receive coverage on the issues that I feel hit home more so than with Biden. But I don't know how well she negotiates/communicates/plays-well-with republicans. She's been a senator since 2013 though.

I guess I'm ok with either of those outcomes, but will vote for Biden in the primary. I think the world is too polarized.

When Fox news had to report accurate impeachment numbers his cult turned on them. The only source that was not "fake" became fake the second they said something mean about their dear leader. He said the Demarcates had gotten to them.

The party could not run another person if they tried. They are not for democracy. They are for power and money in the hands of people who know better. You can see it from a business or goverment perspective. They want what they would call "strong" leadership and are willing to accept the end of Democracy for it. It's why they talk so much of America "not really being a Democracy" and how important the electoral college is. Speaking up only matters when the white guy who does not like taxes has polices he does not like. When a Republican has been president protest has always been a hot issue. They told the hippies to leave Nixon alone, the punks Regan, and now the world Trump.

Post 9/11 was the same. You don;t say anything about America and Bush or you leave. Yet with Clinton and Obama who also had Americans fighting under their watch it's fine to be up their ass at every turn. Even though there is not one example between either of those two of a scandal on the level of which Trump has had dozens real Americans never accept this fake president and never stop knowing in their hearts he's an evil man.

They have abandoned the fundmenetal idea of Democracy. Only their view counts. They wish to be king and have the under class worship them for it. It started with a love of Amazon and now as a result it's a love of the man who makes you feel proud as a white and ensures Amazon still has the wonderful free market free of socialism and forced diversity. A white English speaking Republican thinking society will by nature just flow to real American Democracy. Right now the threat of European socialism and genocide of the white race is just too much of a risk. In a state of emergency voting does not happen.

Its only convoluted, because it defies the physical evidence that metaethics rule the universe. All of modern academia and the legal system depend upon classical logic and morality that denies the evidence that metaethics rule human nature, and until the foundations of logic change sad compromises that inevitably fall apart are the best anyone can manage. Modern science, economics, and politics have to catch up with reality, or modern civilization will implode altogether. Classical logic only became widely popular, because its a way to organize in larger numbers and make more money.

  15. Bill Maher, is right.

In the quest to out-left each other the democrats really do look like the party of crazy. It's also time to run serious interference on the appearance of Joe's condition. Beto needs to give it up and send his campaign money upstream. Same with anyone else below 10% or so. They are causing donations to be spread thin and this is the time to concentrate resources. Trump has enough legal money to hold 3 rallies for every 1 the democrats can muster. And really, those comfortable little rallies are an early campaign strategy, not the norm. They are supposed to grow, noticeably.

A year and a week from impeached Trump getting crushed in the election.

He'll blame it on illegal aliens, nobody will care.
