When the Soviet Union fell apart, the price of freedom in the free world shot through the roof. Without external enemies, they gerbils eat each other, which Fox News is now capitalizing on. You can sell them alcohol and then a cure for a hangover and several copies of AA literature. Ain't modern science grand. A few bars in America offer a free drink for your AA medallion. Its a free country, at least, when money is involved.

Sanders is older. Trump is only three years younger. Warren is six years younger.

And Mickey Mouse is timeless, just ask Obama. Personally, I want to see Mini do her thing. Daisy Duck never did anything for me.

  4. I really liked Biden's final words. Telling Americans to lift their heads up. It was really sad. We're a nation of people who slave for corporations. Politicians evidently just don't get that that's not the most wonderful feeling in the world. And we don't have anything to show for it. The CEOs and corporate execs who rule this country just let the country crumble. Everything is about micromanaging expenditures and profits. There's literally nothing for any of us, and yet we're supposed to lift up our heads and be proud of our country.

It's still a nice sentiment, though. I can see his heart is in the right place. But he just doesn't understand that this way of life is not pleasant. People want to exist for other people, not for corporations' profits. They don't realize that, actually, your average American has his own hopes and dreams, and could give two fucks about your corporate aspirations, no matter how many times you force your employees to pledge allegiance to Wal-Mart or McDonald's.

We don't give a shit. Your employees don't care if your corporation goes bankrupt. We want to exist for other people.

I don't have the words to express. I could go more in-depth, but nobody's going to want to read all that. It's one thing when a house is divided, but it's another thing when everyone's trying to build a house, but they're all working for different factions. What you end up with is a dilapidated fucking disaster.

I recently found out that Biden wrote the bankruptcy bill that makes it impossible for anyone with student loan debt to declare bankruptcy

then of course he famously told millenials to give him a break and laughed at them and told them to pull themselves up by the bootstraps when they complained about the crushing student debt they're under.

I really cant stand Biden. He's smug and completely out of touch with issues facing young people

What's to comprehend? He's a politician and the votes of the younger population are practically meaningless to him. Donald Duck says whatever he wants, because he knows the sane half of the country is worthless to him. To politicians, people are disposable property and you merely have to humor them.

Why would he give credence to people who, if they vote(big if), won't vote for him?
Every politician has a demographic they try to attract. Millenials are not in Biden's rear view mirror.

If that's his strategy it's no wonder he's floundering.

Millennials expected to outnumber Boomers in 2019

I'm wondering if, should Biden get the nomination, milennials will vote for him, or just sit the election out. If the latter, they deserve another four years of Trump.

They're in his rearview mirror, just enough that he will promise them this, that, and the other thing and then casually stomp on everything they wanted.

    That sounds rather divisive
A good president does their best to represent everyone, even those who dont vote for him.

And student loan debt is a major problem that affects the overall health of the economy. Generations dont live in individual bubbles.

How is your response even a response to the criticism I made anyways
What about the actual criticism I'm making

I half feel like Biden is being realistic and not promising things that will be impossible to get through Congress. The other half of me wants to believe that we can have single payer healthcare, free tuition, and other assorted social programming. :)

Donald Duck has trashed the entire judicial system and congress so badly, our next president will spend all his time attempting to put the pieces back together, while the republican party continues to fall apart at the seams, and drags their feet on every fucking issue. Utopian fantasies are never to be confused with the current disaster we call a government. We will be lucky if the asshole doesn't incite civil war and revolution for years to come.

If Joe Biden is elected President, he will be rolled over by the socialists.

Kind of like when Rham Emanuel was packed off back to Chicago

Biden is merely the half-time entertainment. Democrats don't have as many entertaining clowns as republicans. Socialism is for people who have a functional government. What are you gonna do? Buy out the people paying for their elections?

The Republicans later changed the law and made it impossible to list student loan money on bankruptcy cases.

I know a woman who is facing homelessness at 8 months pregnant because her student loan debt ruined her credit and she cant find anyone who will give her an apartment lease with bad credit

Whether she votes or not, she doesnt deserve Trump. She doesnt deserve Biden either. She deserves someone who will take her problems seriously because her problems are very real.

Just as an example. Her story has been getting to me.
And to hear someone like flagme tell me that Biden has no responsibility to represent people like her because she wont vote for him anyways...that really irks me.
And then for you to say that people who dont vote for someone who wont represent them deserve Trump, who is another person who wont represent them..that irks me.
People deserve to be heard and represented by elected officials.
