Two Children Die From COVID in Tennessee As Doctors Send Vaccination Appeal


Medical professionals in Memphis, Tennessee, are warning about the dangers of Delta variant and the need to get vaccinations, after two children died from COVID-19 over the weekend.

Dr. Nick Hysmith, Medical Director of Infection Prevention at Le Bonheur, said both children were over the age of 10. One of the children was a patient, while the other was being treated at an outlying facility.

Speaking to WREG, Dr. Hysmith said he is seeing more and more juveniles being admitted to the hospital with severe COVID symptoms as a result of the Delta variant.

"Early on in the pandemic, we were seeing kids who would come in for another reason, maybe they broke their leg or something like that, and they would come in, and they would test positive for COVID," said Dr. Hysmith. "So, they would be in our COVID isolation area.

It's still a fascinating find and a real gauge into the full extent of the virus

former Newsmax host who spent much of his recent career railing against vaccines and all manner of COVID-19 precautions died earlier this week of complications from the virus, reports said.

Dick Farrel, 65, was also a longtime radio host in Florida, where local TV station WPTV writes he was "known and beloved by fans for his over-the-top right-wing opinions."

Those opinions grew increasingly vicious over the course of the past year-and-a-half as COVID swept through Florida, and the United States as a whole — calling Dr. Anthony Fauci a "power tripping lying freak" and repeatedly disparaging mask wearing as "face diapers" and "face pantys."

He also advocated strongly against vaccines — until contracting the virus himself.

 

So where's the "but the children!" crowd?

 

Ask Junior United States Senator Rafael Edward Cruz from Texas (not to be confused with the Archangel Raphael..lol.) since he recently called for zero Covid-19 mask mandates
as his kids attend school.

 

They are off somewhere protesting "masks in schools"...

 

On the plus side, it's never been easier to gauge someone's intelligence. Just ask if they've been vaccinated.
