Yes as an American I feel the world revolves around us, but as an Australian, it appears you do as well.

Pete said to end the year on a positive note, but those figures just pissed me off more, 140,150 million new borns into the world in 2020, but we are supposed to stuff up their futures, send their parents broke just because 1.8 million old people in mostly first world countries died a year or two before they otherwise would have

    That is the reality

'Perfectly Healthy' 18-Year-Old Dies of COVID-19 Three Days After Being Hospitalized
    12/31/20

An Illinois family is mourning the loss of their "perfectly healthy" teenage daughter who died of complications due to COVID-19 this month.
Sarah Simental, an 18-year-old from Tinley Park, died on Dec. 26, just three days after being admitted to the hospital with a positive coronavirus test, according to
    NBC Chicago.
Her mother, Deborah Simental, told the outlet that her daughter had been following all of the safety precautions and had only seen her boyfriend prior to experiencing symptoms.
Sarah first reported a minor headache on Dec. 16 and two days later her symptoms worsened as she developed a fever, chills and started vomiting.

Just means they havent worked out what the underlying condition was yet

There would be close to a million other 18 yr olds around the world that have been infected that didnt die

Some underlying rare blood condition that they wont work out is the cause for another couple decades

I could make the same argument that there’s still much about the novel coronavirus that we don’t know.

Perhaps her genetic makeup made her a particular susceptibility to the coronavirus. We don’t know that for sure, but what we do know is if she hadn’t been exposed to the virus, or if she had been treated with the vaccine, she would have likely gone on to live a long and healthy life.

Until much more research is done, she died from the coronavirus.

Oh, but we do know it's not Covid

There are 85 million official recorded cases worldwide, that means for each year of age there are roughly a million people that have been infected, a million 18 yr olds, a million 19 year Olds etc etc

A million 18 yr olds have been infected and at most say 200 have died. 999,800 didn't die

A hypothesis saying a virus that didn't kill 99.98% of those infected in a certain age range, but killed the remaining 0.02% would fail any statistical test

And as there is no one on the planet yet that has any clue why people are dying and the vast majority aren't, there aren't any experts yet

If you disagree, then explain the other million 18 yr olds that tested positive, but didn't die. Covid obviously didn't kill them

So, to summarize I think what we're seeing is that CoViD-19 is particularly deadly for those with pre-existing conditions, but that's not to say "Oh, it was something else that killed them - cancer, diabetes, heart failure, Alzheimer's, etc.

If I'm the coroner or medical examiner and I'm tasked with determining a cause of death from CoViD-19 vs. something less lethal, or that typically kills over a longer period of time, I'm liking CoViD for COD.

in other words, you didn't provide one iota of proof she didn't die from COVID-19

I think I'll go along with her personal physicians assessment and cause of death, while you struggle to complete your medical degree at Trump University. ...lol..

VG, do you think CoViD-19 is less serious than is portrayed by the global media?

Which is why Australia is now in trouble and Sydney is being placed in its own form of lock-down - all because you failed to adhere to the 2 metre separation and wear a proper mask instead of the plastic bag I saw you wearing !!!

Covid figures are bound to go up due to a few factors, Non-acceptance/non-complience, Reliability of reporting and Winter - despite whatever action is/is not taken by whomever - the way, like the figures will be 'UP'
