I'm so sick of that bullshit argument

Top ten US states by Covid related deaths per million people up till today. in order

    1 New Jersey 1,839
    2 New York 1,720
    3 Massachusetts 1,411
    4 Connecticut 1,274
    5 Louisiana 1,232
    6 Rhode Island 1,087
    7 Mississippi 1,065
    8 Arizona 800
    9 Illinois 746
    10 Florida 741

What do 7/10 of them have in common?

Looks like you are headed for about 260,000 dead by December 31st

What happens if Joe Biden becomes President and from January to March 2021 you have about the same number of covid deaths in those three months as the previous 10 months under Trump

Because if you go by Argentina and Peru's numbers in their winter, that's what you are headed for, back to about 3000 deaths a day, and they will be mostly in the northern, colder, blue states

Better start preparing the excuses now

Impossible not with a nationwide mandatory mask order in place, and several states will undoubtedly impose a lock-down or shelter in place order.

In all seriousness who do you trust to lead us through this pandemic Mr. Herd immunity, or Joe Biden who will listen to the science and replace that Trump
    puppet currently heading the CDC

I would make the argument, that with your country, a certain level of domestic control is not possible regardless who is President

Damn Fla does it again!! We crazy here

Florida puts a positive spin on COVID-19 data, misleading the public on pandemic

Florida has obscured the true extent of its COVID-19 pandemic by using a misleading measure of positive cases to justify reopening schools and businesses, state data indicates.

While Florida has publicized that its “positivity rate” has regularly fallen below 5%, other health organizations are publishing data that shows the rate may be dramatically higher.

Independent experts, including Johns Hopkins University, consistently list Florida’s positivity rate at 10% or higher, twice the recommended level for widespread reopening.

    The Media, dated today

"Coronavirus cases have exploded in Sweden as authorities try to keep hold of twin battles – containing the virus and controlling the narrative.

The breakaway Nordic nation divided experts by refusing to lock down its citizens when the virus swept through the country earlier this year.

But a devastating second wave has forced a dramatic rethink as infections threaten to derail any gains that were achieved by taking a now notoriously relaxed approach to the pandemic."

Sweden’s U-turn in tackling virus as cases spike

Boston Public Schools Shift to All Remote Learning Due to Spike in COVID Cases
    10/21/20

Boston Public Schools announced they will be going all remote starting Thursday due to a recent spike in coronavirus cases in the city. Students will remain in remote learning until there are two full weeks of falling infection rates.

The city's seven-day average COVID-19 positive test rate has risen to 5.7%, an increase from last week's rate of 4.5%.

We have said all along that we will only provide in-person learning for students if the data and public health guidance supports it, and this new data shows that we are trending in the wrong direction,” Mayor Marty Walsh said in a statement.
“We will continue to monitor the metrics and work towards our goal of welcoming students back into our classrooms, learning among their peers, supported and educated by our dedicated staff.”

Sweden has one of the world’s highest mortality rates in the world among wealthy countries — 58 deaths per 100,000 people, compared to 11.58 in Denmark, 6.24 in Finland, and 5.09 in Norway.

Covid Vaccine Trial: What Scientists Say About A Volunteer’s Death
People involved in the Oxford University trial have stressed there's no cause for concern.

A volunteer taking part in the clinical trials of a promising Covid-19 vaccine has died in Brazil, leading to a number of alarmist headlines and speculation on social media.

Oxford University is in advanced stages of testing an immunisation being developed with AstraZeneca, with volunteers in countries including Brazil, the UK and the US. Scientists have emphasised there is no cause for concern.

    The cause
Most importantly, the volunteer is not thought to have received the vaccine and may have been given a placebo.

The trial would have been suspended had the volunteer been given the vaccine, suggesting the person was part of the control group that was given a meningitis jab, a source familiar with the matter told Reuters.

AstraZeneca said it could not comment on individual cases due to patient confidentiality, but said all due processes had been followed and there were no issues with the trial continuing.

“Without details it’s impossible to know what has happened in this case but as the trial is continuing, I think we can assume the circumstances of the death were such that it was clearly not vaccine related,” Ian Jones, Professor of Virology at the University of Reading, said in a statement issued by independent science publicity group the Science Media Centre.

    The volunteer
The identity of the person who died has not been confirmed by those running the trial but CNN Brasil reported he was a 28-year-old man who lived in Rio de Janeiro and died from Covid-19 complications.

Andrew Freedman, reader in Infectious Diseases and Honorary Consultant Physician at the Cardiff University School of Medicine, said: “Fortunately, deaths resulting from the administration of a trial drug or vaccine are very rare and would normally lead to the immediate discontinuation of the trial.”

    The trial
    The trial is continuing.

So far, 8,000 of the planned 10,000 volunteers in the trial have been recruited and given the first dose in six cities in Brazil, and many have already received the second shot, said a university spokesman.

Oxford said in a statement: “All significant medical incidents, whether participants are in the control group or the Covid-19 vaccine group, are independently reviewed.

“Following careful assessment of this case in Brazil, there have been no concerns about safety of the clinical trial and the independent review in addition to the Brazilian regulator have recommended that the trial should continue.”

Here is the graph again man, right in front of your face

Covid related deaths per million population up until 21st October 2020

    Sweden: 586
    Massachusetts: 1419

You have basically nowhere in the US currently under stay at home orders, even though you have 3 times as many active cases as you did in April, which, even though no one is saying it out loud, is an admission that lockdowns are relatively useless

Despite the medias best efforts, there are just not going to be enough people to panic if the mortality rate is 1/20 th of what it was 6 months ago

    Its all seriously BULLSHIT

Why we're overestimating the mortality rate for COVID-19
    • A lack of adequate testing means many of those who have been infected with the coronavirus will not appear in official statistics.
    • This suggests that many estimates for its mortality rate are much too high.
    • We need to build better systems for sharing and reporting data.

    And then there is this
Fact check: CDC estimates COVID-19 death rate of 0.26%
The range of estimates put the fatality rate for those showing symptoms between 0.2%-1%, with a "best estimate" of 0.4%.

It also places the number of asymptomatic cases between 20%-50%, with a "best estimate" of 35%.

By combining the two estimates, the estimated overall fatality rate of those infected with the virus – with and without symptoms – would be 0.26%.

roughly double that of garden variety flu

Panic, DAILY death counts, lives destroyed, businesses bankrupt ,food shortages.
    ask yourself WHY
