Recognise who the bad guys are - EVIL among us. Sometimes you have to SHOW people - you cannot just tell them. Bill Gates is one of the most evil cold-blooded humans alive today and one of the greatest dangers we face - because so many people still believe that he has our health and well being at heart. He has been actively planning and orchestrating a global de-population program for the Global Elite for the past 4 decades - using his vaccines as a weapon of mass destruction among the African children and the rest of the word population. It has not really worked - NOW they released Covid 19 as a false flag event to achieve their objectives - pretending to be helping humanity. Remember that we the people have the numbers on our side - we can change the world - all we have to do is to recognise the true invisible enemy of the people - it is not a virus - it is a group of criminals - who are very powerful people, that have taken control of our governments and all the large corporations that control most of our industry.

‘Restrictions’ on restrictions" data-reactid="66">‘Restrictions’ on restrictions
The legal framework within which the government of Sweden operates does not directly allow it to impose draconian measures, such as a widespread or nationwide shutdown.

This is because there is no provision in the Swedish constitution that allows the imposition of a state of emergency during peacetime crisis. There are, however, provisions to do so if there is a war.

But on 16 April, the Swedish parliament passed a bill that granted the government decision-making powers to tackle the pandemic. The bill took effect two days later.

The government may use the powers close schools, restaurants, gymnasiums and businesses – but does not give it power to impose a nationwide curfew.

Voluntary measures ‘easier to keep in place’" data-reactid="95">Voluntary measures ‘easier to keep in place’
While Sweden suggested many familiar rules that other nations were following – such as keeping distance from others, refraining from going to into the workplace and avoiding non essential journeys – the advice was issued by the country’s Public Health Agency, rather than by the government.

As such, Sweden’s ‘restrictions’ were more advisory than ruling, trusting that Swedes should exercise “common sense” and use “good judgment” when going about their daily lives.

But the country’s former state epidemiologist, Annika Linde, has expressed doubts about the strategy adopted by the Swedish health authority, saying: “Most likely, we would still be a bit worse off (than other Nordic countries) but better off than we are now, and we would possibly have gained time to prepare the strategy to protect the elderly.”

Barring visitors to care homes" data-reactid="101">Barring visitors to care homes
One of Sweden’s few restrictions was a ban on visiting elderly people in care homes. However, Public Health Agency figures show that almost half of the country's fatalities linked to coronavirus happened in residential homes.

There has been no clear reason for how elderly care home deaths rose so sharply in the country, although it is believed factors could include new arrivals to the homes, residents returning from hospital, asymptomatic staff and a lack of testing early on.

But Sweden’s health minister Lena Hallengren said the responsibility lay with ‘countless actors’ – as described the tragic number of care home deaths as a “society-wide failure”.

Wow, thanks for posting that actually, thats some quality bullshit reporting, shows you how desperate the media are getting to try convince themselves and everyone else the lockdowns werent a complete waste of time and money. Although I dont know how well a contributor for Yahoo news UK represents the media

So, the graph is basically saying they went from 4.5 deaths per million to 5.5 for two days. By comparison UK recorded 17.5 deaths per million people on April 21st, its worst day

What to think about Vietnam? It is reported that there are only 326 cases and no death because they applied an early prevention, do you believe that?

Sweden is doing pretty bad, they fucked up royally. By comparison, Finland, their neighbors to the east have only suffered 320 deaths against a population of roughly 5 and a half million, and the killrate has now slowed down considerably from the peak. Finns imposed a strict lockdown, the locals complied with this order and followed the recommendations, and as a result, less than 3 months later, things are now slowly returning to normal, which is not something that could be said about Sweden. Sorry, but the numbers testify that a lockdown was absolutely the right thing to do.

    ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

When it comes to Sweden there was a massive death toll among the elderly, but the economy grew last quarter.

    It was a Hobson's choice

EXCLUSIVE-Russia to roll out its first approved COVID-19 drug next week

Interesting. I wanted to post this because of how it was presented as a Covid19 drug, but having read the article I don't know how much promise there is. And it isn't exactly a new drug. But I guess we'll see.

The economy can always be rebooted, but the 4000+ Swedish people who died, died for real. There's no coming back.

It means now that with Australia, there was one death at 55, another at 62, the other 98% were all over 70........and we spent a trillion $ so far panicking about that

I think it's an orchestrated attack to close down the companies etc. have them all liquified so the big companies can gain work, revenue and produce.

The rich become richer and the poor become poorer. Such is history. Such is our future. Such is and always has been.. life.

So, let's go through the logic

Sweden, 4403 deaths, compared to Finland 318 deaths, oh that can only be because Sweden didn't force a lock down even though none of the cases there had anything to do with the restaurants that stayed open

Compared to Netherlands, 5962 deaths, oh that has to be something to do with not catching it early enough

Compared to Japan 892 deaths, who also didn't force a lockdown, oh that has to be about early testing (which they didn't do) or contract tracing which they also didn't do much of a job on

Compared to Sth Africa, still only 705 deaths, I'm sure the reality of their enforced lockdown made for a result 5 times better than Sweden and it has nothing to do with their life expectancy being only 56 and anyone that could have died of covid was already dead

Or Thailand, who really in the end get the gold medal, still only 58 deaths, right next door to China, thousands of visitors from Wuhan at the time, I'm sure that's all because of the success of their lockdown....nothing to do with every single one of their doctors being more experienced than anyone in the world with infectious diseases, and that 90% of their population is 50kgs and lives on fish and rice. Yeah, I'm sure Sweden did 75 times worse than thailand because they didn't close their restaurants

Here is the breakdown of deaths by age in Sweden

Sweden: coronavirus deaths by age | Statista

    88% were over 70

Half of all Swedish deaths were in nursing homes

Across the world, figures reveal horrific toll of care home deaths
