VG has been calling this SARS 2 which is somewhat inaccurate.

Sure SARS was a coronavirus but what’s different is you can be asymptomatic with COVID-19 and still infect other people, whereas with SARS it took 5 to 6 days so by the time you were sick,
you were likely already in the hospital before you could pass it on to others, which made all the difference in the world.

That’s why this is much worse.

It's official name is Sars-CoV-2 and they have already mapped it's sequence and shown it's a different strain of Sars-CoV

I was not in disagreement with you, I was attempting to clarify the other one, I thought it being referred to as Sars 2.0 might've been confusing.
