I just think it's better not to travel to those countries that have the deadly flu bug spreading about.
Stay home.
Stay in bed if you are sick with it.
Don't go to work and spread it about.

It's like the gastro bug it spreads quickly.
It can kill you.

 

People like that exist in all walks of life. We had a guy like that, who put "Battle of the Bulge" in the health and lifestyle section of the film listings. He thought that it was a guide to slimming. He then went on to put "When the wind blows" among the Donald Duck and Tom and Jerry films in the under 5's listings, despite it's 18 censor rating..

lol. Ok...

I have it in my car because I go to school and share the computers and the stupid handrails... I go to the gym too, and people are groping the equipment. The place is brimming over with germs.... I wash the machines before (if I remember...) and after I use them. And they provide hand sanitizer foam.

All that, and I feel better having it. It kills germs. So the ones that come with me to the car meet their end before it ever hits the steering wheel. In reality I'm eating stuff and touching things and plenty of other ways that germs get in. But hopefully it's making a little bit of difference. And I do wash my hands a lot as well. But the sanitizer feels like a little bit more.

 

The same dude went on to tell me that all the bushfires were started by lightening strikes when it wasn't actually the case.
It doesn't help when you have morons who think that just because they read something in the media that it's to be taken as gospel.
If you have a good look around your own area you know that bushfires aren't just started by thunderstorms.
Here in Australia we have had dickheads go out on hot and windy days that have been declared TOTAL FIRE BAN days go out and light bushfires.
I did read a police report that there were 180 people charged with lighting bushfires in NSW alone.

 

A mate of mine also now goes out in public wearing a face mask because he doesn't want to be breathed on by those who possibly might have the deadly flu bug

I considered a mask as well, but I'm not so sure that looks very good. I wear them for smoke when there's fires, so we have some. I could just wear one, but long term... I dunno. I don't think I'd be very comfortable. Maybe you get used to it...

Also, I want gloves! I think we have a box somewhere. I don't know what size hands for.

You now made me wonder whether the guy read (or rather misread) a lengthy reply that I posted on climate change and how reducing carbon emissions too fast will raise the oxygen level on the planet and trigger bushfires, It is a complex study on how the planet maintains a constant oxygen level regardless of mankinds activity. However the hypothesis mainly suggests that the size and extent of the fires may be involved. It had nothing to do with the idiots who start them deliberately.
Sadly, the idiots only see what they want to see in everything they say or hear about. This type of paranoia is a medically documented side effect on the use of cannabis and one of the reasons that it is not openly used for medical reasons in the UK.

 

It's funny how some people go by what the media say and then don't take a look around their own property.
Basic hygenine is what is needed here for this flu bug.
You just gotta hope that when you need to use the loo that nobody with that flu bug has peed all over the flush buttons.

 

As I mentioned, hand gel only kills pathogenic bacteria and not viruses. However good old soap and water will soon flush them away.
Towels in public places are a huge risk, but no one seems to have mentioned them.
We really do live in a crazy world.

 

Yeah and not to mention people who have no manners when they need to cough or sneeze. They just let the particles fly out of their mouths and hope for the best that it didn't get anyone.
