I like to say the year as "two thousand and twelve" instead of "twenty-twelve" as many people say, i know this is off topic a bit.....In this next year i plan on making a lot of thigns happen, and due to my actions along with their consequences and conclusions from this year, i know that 2012 is going to be a great year for me, determined to make it full of love, attain certain personal goals, and just live life.

 

You're really not serious about that superior european culture thing are you? I mean do people really believe that europeans are better than any other culture?

well, word is that in 2012 the sun will be aligned with the center of the milky way for the first time in about 26,000 years. What does this truly mean? who knows. something full of destruction, completely irrelevant, or possibly something very special.

if you even slightly believe in positive intention and manifesting your own reality, wouldn't you rather believe in 2012 as a shift for the better rather filling the collective consciousness with "FALLING SKY!!!" type energy

The real problem, as I see it, with the idea of the world ending on a particular day of a particular year which had been pre-defined, is that we need to know which side of the International Date Line we're talking about. Because, like, it would be terrible if you thought you had another day left only you were the wrong side of the IDL and you didn't ...

... but worse still, supposing you spent all day running round like a headless chicken thinking the world was going to end, and then it didn't .. so you invited all your friends to a big party to celebrate that the world hadn't ended after all, only to have the world end before you could throw it? I mean, you'd look a right banana then, wouldn't you?

 

Well, it wouldn't matter then, would it?


Anyways if the whole date line thing adds confusion it would be safe to imagine the alignment where the calender was carved would be the most accurate......

 

start the party at the night of december 20 and dont stop

...if the world doesnt actually end... well, then you have a reason to throw ANOTHER party

 

The only end I see on that day are the lives of misled cultist that commit mass suicides.

 

i don't mind if it's worse than 2012, as long as it's not as bad as battlefield earth.
