yes, to point to an exact date is just mankind trying to make sense of it all, trying to hold on to the reigns of knowledge and power... it also probably has a lot to do with making money...

as a child, i saw many unusual things and experienced things that i now know to be rare... without actual experience, i knew how things would turn out... i knew of the existance of reptilian beings way before Icke even considered leaving the BBC... reptilians get some pretty bad press incidently.... on a more mundane level, i knew that if i paid into a pension, it would be taken from me... for me that is proof enough that these notions are from within and then, years later, they become mainstream... making sense of it all is quite a different matter... mysteries are for unfolding and not for dissection, as much as we crave to truely understand them... we will understand, in time... or to be more accurate, i will say that we can only truly understand these things once we are no longer trapped by the notion and experience of linear time only... this happens when we are dead.... it can also happen when we are still physically manifest, for example, when we partake of entheogenic substances ingested from an external source or, as in my case, when our brains release it's naturally occuring DMT from within our physical selves...

as the labour of giving birth to a child is physically painful, yet joyful, so too is the process of giving birth to ourselves... love to all mankind...

so now that 2012 is right around the corner, i'm just curious what any people's hopes or expectations or intuitions are about the upcoming year?

 

To be honest, i don't see the world ending... In a way though, I kind of wish it will... That may seem weird, but nothing seems to be happening in the world other than poverty and war. I want a revolution of enlightenment, I want something to happen. I really wish that a time like the 60s could happen again so we could all learn.

I don't believe the world will end, but I have heard about people that do believe it and have plans for the special day, so I think no matter what happens with the world itself, people will die on the day, and it will be a special day to go down in history, just not the end of it all.

 

I feel some sort of fundamental shift taking place for myself and for others. Change is always taking place but i feel a more conscious awareness of change against the background of changelessness will be dawned upon. The depth and perception of the movement of time in phenomenal space will be enhanced. Perhaps UFOs? I'm down.

but regarding everything else, such as when you were talking about things originating from within and then unfolding into manifest reality. i can relate so much to that.

I just remember so specifically, back in the summer of 2006 when i first started smoking weed, being in my friend's basement smoking with him and just going on and on about this persistent intuition that i had that the economy was about to crumble in a few years. You could argue that the economy hasn't crumbled today, but it certainly isn't in good shape.

And then back in december of 2008 was when i felt this strong intuition to drop out of school and to really pursue my musical/spiritual life. It may have been the very same day or a few days later, but that's when the stock market started acting really strange.

It's just interesting to me to refer back to those times and to see, at least in my opinion, how it's all just a timeless unfolding of One existence. Perhaps the pull and strain i felt to move in a certain direction in my life was the same pull and strain that was putting the economy in a shitty place. It's all just one movement.

I don't know, to some that may not seem to insane or mind-blowing and perhaps not important but i find it really interesting.

 

tbh, i'm not sure exactly what the whole reptilian thing is about either... i have made posts on here about my reptilian experiences/connections but i can't find them atm... but to cut a long story short, i feel like maybe i have reptilian connections/genes/other-dimensional bodies/psychological aspects, and i have heard how David Icke vilifies reptilians, but i believe the reptilian thing to be much more widely spread than the elite... infact, i would go as far as to say that i think it is likely in many of us, to greater and lesser degrees... i know that my intent is good, therefore, not all reptilian beings should be feared/vilified imho...

it's good to be reminded that i haven't been alone in "knowing stuff"

First off I <3 that pic in ur signature.

I actually had an acid trip where I created a rather clear explanation for what you just described. There has been that same general idea floating around cyber-space that this generation is being thrusted into a new era of perception/understanding. Our eye is opening to a new dimension and as a new age is dawning we will be forced to embrace this new awakening very soon.

People fear the all seeing eye on the back of a dollar bill but I see it as a symbol to those who have already opened their third eye telling them the time is coming.

(In regards to the posts about Reptilians, I believe they are guides trying to awaken us to a possibility of a new reality...I'm not sure if reptile or what...but they have been the pharoahs and have positioned themselves atop of our pyramids/government and have been unfair towards us in the hope we will revolt against control and instead focus on our creativity/freedom/equality...this will make sense later...but think about it, if everything was always ok and we were always content, why would we want to ascend to the next level?)

My insane theory: This could get long so I apologize in advanced if you stop reading due to it being long. I'll try to organize it so you can skip around.

First: Dimensions. There are many dimensions expressed as waves and frequencies. (Like a bunch of people talking to you in different languages but you only understand one. You tune the rest out because it's all you know.) Our current state of being is only 3 dimensional. I believe in 2012 some* will open a new dimension that will form a new reality. It's even said in some religions that we will "ascend" into the heavens. (New dimension maybe?)

Second: Forces at Work. I've started to believe 2 forces rule this universe in the current state of reality. The force of control and the force freedom/creation. They are both needed to allow our reality to continue but I believe we go through phases that shift from excessive control to excessive freedom/creation. (1 dimension is a straight line on paper, ultimae control, 2 dimensions-draw right angles in regards to that 1 dimensional line, somewhat less control, 3d is our dimension...a balance between both...4d is theorized to be space/time...but I think that's apart of our 3d world. I think it would be what people describe seeing and cant describe afterward on a DMT trip possibly? More creativity and freedom of physical rule? It feels like there is no such thing as time. Some even describe seeing entities...some angry for unknown reasons. Maybe because they aren't used to unwelcome visitors just coming and going as they please?)

We're moving into a new phase shift of freedom and creation. (Look around the world today at the protests going on...it's going on everywhere. We all want to be treated equally...as one.)

Third: Artistic Extremism and Construction. This part is my favorite. I really believe that those "Aliens" or "Reptilians" that people speak of are in our government/media and, like I said before, have been leading us to one of the 2 extremes. Some of us want to have that control that governments and huge corporate conglomerates have, others want the freedom/creativity and to be seen equally. The first will stay in this dimension while the latter will be ready for the next.

I have more but this is getting long and drawn out.

I'll just leave it at that...if somebody actually likes those ideas I can go more in depth because I have plenty of proof that this phase shift has been coming.

I was sort of wondering what people think happened to the dinosaurs and how odd it is that many people have ideas that 'reptile-like beings' have manifested on our planet and control our governments/big companies that practically rule the world...
Maybe they're just trying to help us ascend as they did. Sure we found their bones and maybe a meteor hit our planet...but all the others might have moved onto a different plane of reality where time doesnt exist so they could move freely throughout different universal planes?

Personally I think a few people should stop tripping for a month or 2 and give their minds a break... If you check some of my posts when I first joined Hip I had some crazy as fuck theories that I just wanted everyone to know. I kept telling my friends all these crazy fucking stories that I'd think of and end up getting funny looks.. What really happened was that I'd been tripping too much, spent too much time by myself with no exposure to normal people, and I'd gone slightly off-kilter with everyone else.
The healthiest thing to do, in my opinion, is to keep questioning everything until you start to realise that it doesn't matter anyway. There are too many possibilities to think of in the world, ESPECIALLY when you start introducing large amounts of tryptamines into your system whilst intrigued by an ancient civilization that were ballsed up on mushrooms in the first place. I'm not saying that the end of the world in 2012 certainly can't happen, it's just very, very, very, very unlikely.

I like to find the balance between normality and reality. The latter can be anything you want it to be.

It looks like the time has finally come to dispel all the illusions and fully reveal the real truth once and for all. Whatever may happen was as it should.

What do i hope for in 2012? Inner transformation above and beyond all else. I can tell that it's going to be a very interesting year, full of promise but filled with large upheavals of energy. The old is falling away so that the new can root itself more fully into the ground.

I still feel that many different factors in my life have led up to this year and will reach a certain conclusion. When something stays with you for a long enough time, at the very least it will have an enormous impact on me if not anyone else.

In other words, i feel like this will be a huge year for me personally, if not for the collective Whole. But since i am instrinsically a part of the collective whole, my own inner transfrormation does have an effect and/or could be a reflection of the greater Whole. You could look at that in some sort of delusional "I am the center of the Universe and whatever happens to me will be the fate of the world" way, or you could look at it in a more selfless way, "What happens to me is interconnected with everything else; what happens on the inside is also going on on the outside; the personal is a reflection of the collective".

True non-duality will always reveal that there is zero gap between the inside of you and the outside of you, revealing your own self to be both Nothing and Everything, simultaneously. This is the wisdom that i hope to fully step into in a more mature, complete, and permanent way in 2012, as it has already been well under way thru all of 2011.

I feel that 2011 has been a year of intense energy; of Shakti lovingly eating away viciously at all that is false within myself, only to show her more beautiful and elegant side as she takes up residency within me. The Serpent Power has been a perfect theme or metaphor for me in 2011, if not just a plain reality. 2012 will be a year where all of my foundations will be truley shaken to their root, emptying me out completely, so that the "kundalini" has the space it needs to fully blast through my system, and a real and "final" sort of switch or transformation/illumination will happen in many different ways, with many different layers. 2013 gives me the vibe of a brand new frontier, where the job has been done and all is fresh and new, but 2012 i see as the year where the real change or shift happens. This could be a perfect reflection for all that Dec. 21 is hyped up to be on a more collective level. I couldn't ask for anything more epic than for the two to align perfectly, but i'm not necessarily counting on it.

I'm also completely open and down for things such as full UFO disclosure in 2012, if not just pure extra-terrestrial, global presence, where they finally reveal themselves to the Earth, and where there's no more conspiracy.

But I guess we will find out once and for all, though, as the long wait (atleast for me) has finally ended.

 

I don't believe in the end of the world. But there is a theory that every so thousands of years the universe goes under a shift. Being interested in astrology, I see a possibility of our world going through a time of enlightenment. My utopian ideals of the perfect future would be much like Futurama where the world is one, and we can interact with other life forms on other planets. Of course that would require a breakthrough in Space exploration, but it's really not that crazy if we put our minds to it.

I can almost promise the world won't end, there's a future, and I think we should focus on shaping that more than planning on an apocalypse
