replace the word "2012" in your original post with "2013", and the mayan calendar system with the nayam calendar system. If someone presented this post to you regarding the significance of 2013 as revealed in the ancient nayam calendar system, what would you think? That because they were passionate, open-hearted, and really really felt it was really gonna happen (intuition bro.) that its legitimate? You need to raise your bar a little for what you believe. You even said yourself that you understand that every moment is change, so what really makes you think that something special will happen 2012? Is it because that's what your being would want? And you're therefore reading facts and feelings to support this want? Because you are not approaching this objectively and intelligently appraising universal data. You are BEGINNING with the desire to want this change, and finding things to make you feel like your desire could actually be fulfilled at some point.

Redirect this desire for change at yourself, not out at the world, in some supernatural predicted apocalypse #10,552. Recognize that you are making the same error in reasoning for the exact same reasons that all those people in history have made regarding Y2K, regarding the 7th day adventist apocalypse, regarding nth end of world prediction. Always it is the ones who "just feel it" who end up "just feeling" a big foot in mouth when nothing happens and the universe continues along on its merry path, unflinching through mere human fable and legend.

We can all get along, (if we decide to sort everything out. lol) Mr Writer wants 2013 Fair enough, we're all pretty accomodating when we don't waste eachother. I find it hard to wait though after finding it so easy for so long. Oh, that reminds me Omacatl, I have never had Peyote, got to to try that.

It's difficult. Saturday night i was having a hard time with the horrible nasuea. Even after i yacked into the "wellness bucket" I felt like if i moved i would be sick. While having a smoke break a brother told me to just talk to the medicine and keep praying. When the buffalo staff came around i sang my prayers aloud and afterwards I felt like a million bucks . The night can be rough but mornings are always beautiful. Everyone who is really feeling the medicine always gets a little choked up by the time the water comes around in the morning.

 

That sounds fuckin' awful! lol

So the gut trouble's a given?

I may be best just sticking to mad amounts of mushrooms.

 

Well, considering that the 2012 calendar is a Mayan calendar, it hardly makes any sense that a Nahuatl (or more correctly, an Aztecatl or Mexicatl) would have a clue about it. The two calendars that the Aztecatl used were a civic calendar and a religious calendar which coincided every 52 years. As far as I know, there was never any lengthier count of years than 52, which they called a 'sheaf of years' and contained 18,980 days in total.

I agree man. Truley i do. But since it's obvious that i can make no objective conclusion about something that has yet to happen, couldn't you say that that intrinsic desire or want within my being should be something that is to be trusted and paid attention to? It's not like i decided to feel this way about 2012. It just arose. It's surging through my being. It has been ever since 2006, when i first started reading about 2012. And it was surging through me prior to 2006...this sense since early childhood that something huge was going to happen in my life.

You don't decide to become inspired by something. It just happens on its own accord.

If your body desires and thirsts for food and water, don't you trust its intelligence?

Likewise, i trust where this inner call is going. If over time it transforms into 2012 being a silly idea, then so be it. I'm fine with that.

So as far as the objective data of all of this goes, i can only just go with my own life experiences, and can also scan over and connect the dots of data that seems to align with my inner inspiration. Meanwhile i trust the authority of that inspiration and allow it to take me wherever it wants to take me. It just happens to frequently take me into the area of 2012, for whatever reason.

So basically, as i see it Writer, where you and me clash seems to be that i'm going off of pure intuition/inspiration and you're looking for something more concrete and objective. And that's respectable and understandable on your part.

And just thinking out loud here, but what's so wrong with wanting to believe in something anyway? Can we agree that beliefs shape and mold the reality we live and the way in which we each see the world? If that's the case, then why not directly believe in something intentionally in order to manifest the reality that you envision? Especially when it's one that seems to be a Cosmic calling or yearning, one that is selfless and downright amazing? This would mean that you and i play a direct role in the vision and creation of 2012 and what it symbolizes. And for what reason should we do this other than for the sake of its own expression and manifestation? Does there need to be a reason?
