But this sounds no different than the vast number of revolutions, changes, judgements, whatever you want to call them, predictions of the past that have failed to meet their predicted date...they're pushed off another year...you "told" us all this about a year ago...and just because Russel Brand had an interview and said what many already think and have thought doesn't really prove you "right" over the "naysayers". Revolutionary war seems more likely than "come on people now, smile on your brother"; though I can't say I wouldn't want it the other way around.
2012 marks the end and the beginning. Nothing large needed to happen in that year in and of itself. This revolution will be different than others since it will be the first global one. Unprecedented. The message of this forum is clear. The result of the predictions is continually correct, but no matter how correct it is somebody steps in and goes "well, you were right, but, not really. It's just the state of the world man". Perhaps the changes are too gradual for them to notice? I don't know. Honestly I don't really care whether "I'm right and you're wrong". That's not what it's about. I'm just trolling. This forum is half complete serious, half complete troll. I'm not actually such an asshole. But early on this forum got shat on so trolling back is my response. But nonetheless, the original message of it is that hisorically speaking a new era of humanity is dawning. And it's undeniable. 2014's revolution will really catalyze and crystallize this shift. 2013 was a very important and accelerated gestation period. Dec. 21st, 2012 marked the end and the beginning. I'm glad that this time around the revolution won't be "smile on your brother, everybody get together". I would prefer something more intense this time. Warfare? Not really a fan of that but yeah I would agree that that could be a possibility. The results of a revolution will be all over the place. Hopefully warfare gives rise to an Archaic Revival Counterculture. If there is a revolution, there will be a counterculture to accompany it.
Reality is always changing, always shifting in, around, above, and beneath itself. 2012 was no different, it just happened to be that people around the world wanted it to be different. Human kind has always had a facination with finding out it's own fate, and this obsession has led to many strange theories through out the ages. I still remember Y2K, everyone thought that was gonna be big, but yet.....
Basically in the end I am getting the vibe that we could go through MASSIVE changes and people would still be going "yeah, but that doesn't mean that 2012 has any meaning. It just so happens to line up perfectly that humanity is at a pivotal point in evolution and their calendar ended (or rather, renewed itself)." Fine. Feel that way I guess. All I can say is that at this point it's just naive and also denial of ancient wisdom.
Perhaps it is like the seasons changing. 2012 started the new season, just sep 22 started the new season. You can sense a little something different in the air, but it doesn't happen all it once, gradually the season will come into its full bloom - as we slip into joy.
What if the Mayans knew that it would mark a sort of ending of a certain momentum and beginning of another? The evidence is obvious that humanity is in fact at a precarious cusp of transformation.
PRECISELY :sunny: But first, some hardcore revolution needs to ensue. A mixture of joy of the new earth with the nightmare of the crumbling old world awaits. 2014. Don't even need the Mayan calendar to see this coming. The state of the world is all the evidence you need. The Tzolkin just so happens to be that brilliant that it completely saw this coming. I don't understand it completely. Maybe when I'm 60.
This revolution is a revolution of consciousness. A paradigm shift towards how we understand it. The primary one being, the brain is within consciousness, consciousness is not produced in and by the brain. Rather than the brain being a generator of consciousness, it is more like a TV set, and consciousness is the TV signal. When the TV set dies, the signal continues. This is equivalent to the paradigm shift of thinking the Sun revolves around the Earth, but it's not true.
I wouldn't fully agree with everything in this article but definitely feel that we're heading in the right direction. Expect a brand new Counterculture THIS YEAR...http://elitedaily.com/life/culture/...-new-generation-hippies-but-with-better-weed/ by the way if you really don't think that Weed legalization isn't revolutionary in and of itself then you're just being stubborn and kidding yourself...but it's going to kick off even much more than that...
Bob Dylan released "The time's they are a changin" 50, yes, five zero, years ago. There's new "countercultures" every year...weed legalization has been gaining momentum for several years, this is all the natural order of life...isn't this thread going to ever just die out?
You could also argue that the discovery of LSD was just the natural order of life as well. That doesn't mean that the Counterculture that it birthed somehow didn't exist though. I feel like there could be a global balls to the wall revolution and you guys would still just be like..."well it's just evolution and the natural order of things". Yeah, no shit. That doesn't change anything about anything. I'm aware that Marijuana legalization has been building...and 2014 (actually late 2012 is when it was passed) is when it happened. As far as the Mayan Calendar is concerned, that's perfectly on track, and the perfect groundwork for a brand new Counterculture.
there's more to the year 2012 after the matter than before. Before represented the end of one Cycle, now we have just begun another. This is crucial on evolutionarily vast Cosmic scales. Marijuana legalization is only the beginning. When will this all end you ask, well we're in year 2 of a new Cycle that lasts 5,125 years.:biggrinjester:
