    fix'd

srsly romo had mabye .5 seconds to get the ball out everytime, plus flozell was injured and Gerald sensabaugh is crap. Congrats to minnie fore the win, but if Dallas makes some moves in the of season i think they can be a championship team

Point well taken... but the fumbles are as much on him for not protecting the ball- yeah, he was on the run quite a bit. They did miss Flozell Adams... it seemed to me that Romo wasn't anticipating the fact that Flozell's absence was going to cause the o-line to be soft. It seemed that a lot of the Cowboy's plays were slow unfolding ones that rely heavily on good pass protection- so am I implicating Wade Phillips or Jason Garrett in the play selection after the injury? The Cowboy's defense kept them in the game until the 4th quarter.

Dallas and New England are in a similar spot I think as Brady wasn't protected and I think was exposed as being at least somewhat overrated. Of course New England needs some defensive help too... a higher powered offense could have really run the score up on them last week.

Vikings over Saints.. same thing is gonna happen against Saints O-line.. minnesota D doesn't need to bring in backers when you got AWWE.. so they always have men down field covered minus the occasional blitz... Brees needs to be able to get the ball out fast if expects anything... if Rice and Favre are on the same page they were against Dallas... Saints D is gonna get smoked... Rice was absolutely on fire... sooner or later here too Peterson is gonna have a break out game too.. he's been held back and you can see his frustration on short gains.. (im really gonna avoid thinking about our evening game record though :()

Colts vs Jets should be interesting.. especially from QB prospective. rookie vs seasoned vet... if Sanchez can keep his shit together and not make any rookie mistakes.. i think the Jets can win this game...

Vikings vs Jets.. Favre vs another former team..

Kevin Williams runs around field naked and retires.. and Favre retires.. why wouldn't you if you were Favre at this point.. if Vikings win the super bowl it was THE best season of his career... best QB rating of his career... another 4000+ year...

    Vikings next superbowl champs

i find this statement hard to believe.. Vikings just dominated either way.. if by closer you mean maybe one less touch down? then ok.. but still it was a blow out by a D that was very pumped and a Favre having a fun time on the field.. he had a lot of time to sit in the pocket.. Dallas's D was shit

    Superbowl = Saints + Colts

The Vikings will definitely put some points on the board next Sunday, but their defense is going to have more than it can handle with New Orleans. I expect another high-scoring game. The Jets have momentum on their side, but I don't think it will be enough to overcome Indy's superior talent and experience. As good as he is now, Mark Sanchez has his best years ahead of him.

Which chocked me, because they have a solid defence. It all comes down to the fact that cowboys didnt play like a 11-5 team.. they had no heart and seemed bored the whole game

anyway, go jets! may aswell cheer for the underdog
    Jets vs. Vikes Superbowl

The loss of Flozell Adams basically rendered ineffective much of the playbook that they still insisted on using apparently- with longer unfolding pass plays that gave the defense extra time to pressure Romo- who at times seemed to not sense the pressure at all. Can't move the ball... defense goes back out with little rest and the game, which was not out of hand for most of three quarters. I think the Dallas defense played well against a very good and rested offense until the D got winded at the end of the game. Chances are that the Vikings would have won anyway but I think with better pass protection and Romo protecting the ball better and being aware of who is coming at him would have made a far more competitive game.

What would be the excuse for not doing this? He's been a starting QB for a long time.

Their inability to adequately fill the LT position after the injury was catastrophic. Romo had no time to throw the ball, but running plays were seriously disrupted also. In the off season, they have to work on their second string offensive line. Injuries late in the season are a given.

Can't guess on the excuse but I agree the injury to Adams did in what chance they had for an upset. I think part of the problem was the play calling after the injury.

The Jets are a dangerous team... I believe the Colts will prevail BUT I'm disqualified as a credible predictor because I was certain San Diego would stomp the Jets... boy was I wrong.

Peyton's comfort level will determine the outcome of that game.... as well how well Indy's defense plays.
