Bengals trail 14-7 against the jets at half time, and ochocinco is a no show.

Watch out for the Jets. New York and Dallas are the hottest teams in football right now.

Forget about the first half of the regular season. It's ancient history.

Yeah these teams are on fire but i think the jets will loose if they have to face the chargers but actually have a chance against the colts

I cant believe the pats lost the way they did. The team doesnt look like they are capable of being effective without Welker. Brady was accurate, this game was just horrible for a patriots fan.

The cowboys D looks almost unstoppable this year. Fuck the Jets, fat fuck Rex Ryan thinks his team is the 07' patriots or something. I want to see them burn in hell.

The loss didn't surprise me at all.

It's questionable whether they would have won WITH Welker but the game would likely have been much closer. I think the nuts and bolts of Belichick's "genius" are pretty much obvious now... he lucked into talent and great offensive and defensive coaching- without which he's no better than he was with the Browns.

A buddy at work last Monday said if he was Robert Kraft he'd have been interviewing Bill Cowher for a newly vacant head coaching job after Belichick let Welker, arguably the most valuable offensive tool, start in the game and get injured. Welker is the only reason they played 17 games this season in my opinion.

Idk, i dont believe belichick is the problem. We cannot rush the qb, defend the pass, and consistently run the ball. The pats ability to stop the run was always a strong point, but now is questioned.

I also believe Randy Moss packed this one up. It looked like he was jogging through his routes, and was afraid to get hit. Brady, along with a few others were the only ones who looked like they were trying out there.

I don't think he's the problem either- though I do question the decision to play Welker in what was essentially a meaningless game.

Belichick got too much of the credit when New England was a powerhouse (not the use of the term "was") and may well take too much blame for things falling off as quickly as they have... though if it was his decision to cut Richard Seymour before the season began he deserves a good chunk of this season's misadventure.

Funny how they didn't make the postseason last year after Brady's injury- despite going 11-5... and likely being more of a playoff caliber team than this year. IMO they didn't belong on the field this time around... despite winning the AFC East. Gotta follow what is done to shore up the defense and offensive line. Without meaningful additions to either of those they are fated to be mediocre.

Well, I was two out of three on my picks.

    Next week I predict:
    Baltimore over Indianapolis
N.Y. Jets over San Diego, although this is probably just wishful thinking
    New Orleans over Arizona
    Minnesota over Dallas
