With Bush's approval rating dwindling (one poll i saw said 36%!), enegry costs soaring, education deterioating, Americans dying abroad in what is probably an illconcieved lost cause, and the alienation of our inalienable human rights, I think that the democrats stand a good chance of picking up alot of seats in congress in 2006.
Do you agree or disagree? Is this a good thing, or just the same shit in a different pile?

(P.S. if the war in Iraq is the albatross that removes the republicans from power was it worth it?)

If more democrats take up space in congress, you'll have a more socially liberal atmosphere. Other than that, it's as you said: Same shit in a different pile.
