Ah, Colorado...back to where the gatherings all began! My first potluck & council were in that beautiful state about 10 years ago, in a small park nestled in the heart of Boulder. This will truly be a homecoming!

see they way i see it is that the gathering is such a huge event and last for so long, a few weeks before the acual gathering and a lil while afterwards, that a year is about the best amount of time you can have to save up some money and prepare for everything that may come about. Me, im gonna do something special! and ill post it up in a lil while maybe just before i leave so everyone will know its me when they see that special thing :) heres a hint.. think Haight-Ashbury, 1966... kinda broad but maybe its enough :) im such a suspense builder! hahaha

I am a peaceful spirit, and am in need of some hippy friends. I know WAshington has to have SO many free spirits....I am just in a weird town. sad. lol, Well write me back or if you want me to pick you up on the way or hang out before the gatherings!!. Brothers and Sisters unite!!

HOwdy Family~ here are the minutes from Colorado Family council dated sept.10th, names have deleted to protect ppl from the NF'ers and places have been deleted to prevent rumor.

Not mentioned~holding camps & you know what they are about! But all and all, 3 places are presently being considered... thanksgiving council will be announced on the light line. Lovin' you ALL~

colo.light line: (303)595-1077Ê for more information on local Family events (Rainbow Potlucks, Campouts, Regionals, etc.)

    Create a Colorado Rainbow Family
group for yourself. It will be our insider discussion list. Thanks for
    your love and support.

I am excited about the news that ***** is looking like a good site.

I contacted Shakedown Street and they are interested in doing the Fort
    Collins fundraiser.

Colorado Rainbow Council September 10, 2005 Minutes

    Colorado Banking Council
****, *******,********and ***** volunteered to be part of the Banking
    Council

    Consensus:
Colorado Family will use the existing ****** *****, non-profit account
to funnel funds through, the Colorado Banking Council will create the
bookkeeping necessary to track donations and spending. This account
will have four signators, the four Colorado Banking Council members.
Spending any monies will require two signatures.

    Consensus:
The Colorado Banking Council will decide if a 2nd account is needed.

    Consensus:
The first $150 collected by the Colorado Rainbow Family will be given
to the Lightline to pay the annual web hosting fee. $89 was collected
on Sept. 10, it was given to the Lightline. The next $61 collected by
The Colorado Family will be given to the Lightline.

I have a note about not writing checks to ****** ******, but I donÕt
know who they should be written to.

    Colorado Family Web Site
    Consensus:
*** will set up Pay Pal on the site.

    Consensus:
Only Colorado events will be listed on the site. The information/events
will be screened/verified by four upstanding Rainbows before it is put
    on the site.

*** *. will host the site

*** asked for volunteers to help keep the site up.

    LightLine:
Check with four upstanding Rainbows before posting.

Asked for three more people to help. **** and ***** offered to help.

    Scouting:
    Separate council after council.

Site considerations: Disabled access, town ? hour away, liquor 1 hour
away, long walk in, more than one way in and out (back door), make sure
Rainbow Family is aware of the altitude and how they can take care of
    themselves in all communications.

    Fundraising:
*** is working on an event with ******l (donÕt know how to spell it)

***** is working on a Fort Collins event, around Nov. 18. MKONO, Beja
Dead and belly dancers are confirmed, she is going to try to get
Shakedown Street. Discussed title of flyer, it can be Rainbow Concert
or something similar, but not Rainbow Fundraiser. It can say Proceeds
to benefit Colorado Rainbow. (I didnÕt take notes on this part, so I
    hope I have it right)

    Thanksgiving Council:
**** ******* in Paonia is a possibility, the Paonia family is wanting
to host it,****** will look further in to it.

Several people said they would look into possible sites.
