hmmm, could someone who did have full privilliges on the old site be so kind as to share their password and username so folks could look at the old forums?

 

Aww...so sad...I can access everything except for the actual posts...
Profiles and old PM's aren't too exciting.

I agree, I think it would be nice if someone who had been a hipforums supporter on the old forums would post their username and password so everyone has the ability to see the old posts. I was devasted, and know many others were, when I found out that I could not read the many posts on the old forums.

You will have to use the same username and password you had on the old site to get in. I found that out. When i got on the new site i changed my password. i could'nt use my new password to log onto the old site. You must use the same username and password you had on the old site when logging into it.

 

I would'nt give out any username or password of anykind. Thats a general rule. I just wanted to let some of the people who were trying to get on that cant get in incase they were using there new user name and password for the new site it wont work.

 

I was ONLY able to view the archives of threads that I had initiated.


But I CAN'T view the archives of all my posts from the many threads I didn't initiate.

Unfortunately, that's the vast majority of my posts!

Is there anyway around this serious limitation?!?

 

It doesn't work for me, though it does recognize my login and password. After I log in it send me right back to the log in screen again.

 

wow trent is that really you, like really? trent as in 'has been here forever then disappeared'?

You inspired me to try again, and now I'm starting to get the hang of it.

 

Indeedly doo I haven't been here for an awful long time, but every now and again I pop back in to say hi. I'm glad I helped with advice, I always have seemed to talk too much, lol. I wonder who I'd still recognize from back in the day....hmmmm *looks around*
