As for music, the 90's was basically about 2 things for me. Nirvana and Happy Hardcore. Fine, I'll throw in some quality Eurodance too.

I think Oasis were easily my favourite from that era.
Kind of makes me think about being a songwriter, or atleast a lyricist.
A proper one. Instead of writing songs about stupid shit... :D

I liked to think I was more into Blur...but I can't fault Oasis for having some toe tapping tunes...

Well, I live in the Midlands. The Heart of the UK. I don't hold any grudges against either the North or the South.

I'm glad nobody has brought up any Drum and Bass / DJ SS > <

To me it wasn't a North-South thing. More that Blur were really a bunch of "mockneys". Middle class, pretending to be working class to make money. All that type of thing. Oasis had something real about themselves and their lyrics.

Blur were a bit.. pop pretending to be rock, I sort of felt.

However, Alban has gone on to prove himself to be talented. Just I felt this "I'm a working class lad" stuff was a bit far fetched. You know?

Maybe I'm thinking about it too much... :D

Probably one of the most important Deep House tracks of the 90s.
