In the course of writing my book I found out from the sister of someone I wrote about that she had committed suicide in 1998.

Another high school friend was one of the Heaven's Gate people who committed suicide to hitch a ride on comet Hale-Bopp in 1997. I happened to be staying up most of the night watching late movies, and saw the item on the morning news. The show listed the names of all the people who had committed suicide, and I saw my friend's name scroll past. I confirmed with other friends later that it was really him. In high school he had been a super bright, extremely popular guy who had been elected Junior class president.

 

The baby just fell back to sleep. All I get done is feeding and changing dirty diapers...

I like to watch comedies on tv...

 

I was once acquaintances with a kid who slit his wrists in the bathtub.

 

I don't like it when people sign out of MSN in the middle of a conversation
