dramas today from my daughters partners family... there comes a time when you've said and done all you can... now is the time to just sit back and let 'em get on with it...

For years my two stepdaughters were at each other's throats almost constantly. Nothing we said or did ever made any lasting difference. The only way we finally got peace in our house was when the older one left for college. GOD what a relief that was...

Is it possible to exceed excused absence allowance? If you did what you were supposed to, and they still messed you up, it sounds like a letter to the school board is in order.

I take it you're under 16...in most states school attendance is not required after you turn 16...but maybe your state is different... My son quit going to school when he was 16, and it was no problem at all.

Oops, I just checked age in your state - compulsory school attendance until age 18. Bummer.

I've been making room for a shed I'm supposed to build before halloween..I set that as the goal but if its later I dont mind as long as Im heading towards the goal

 

Looking for somewhere to hide the kiddies that night are you?

 

no..I just find that setting dates help get things done..I'm building a shed just for tools because the garage looks like its about to collapse and the owner doesn't want to fix it so I need to make sure my tools are safe.

 

I bought two doggie frizbees today and the dogs destroyed both of them within 10 minutes of me tossing them out into the yard.....;-)
