It's usually best to just not overthink it. We can sometimes overthink things like, "what will I talk about," and get nervous because of it. The best thing to do is just wing it.

    Good luck :)

I get like that even with family. The only way to break it is to just meet, it's like pulling off a band-aid. After 5 minutes you won't even care anymore.

That sounds like a good idea.

 That's quite a bit. Do you walk at a regular pace or brisk walk?

I usually do 40 on the elliptical, 15-20 minutes on a weight machine, then 10 minutes on a rowing machine. 4-5 days a week

You must be in pretty damn good shape if you do all that in a week!

An elliptical would probably benefit you more than a treadmill, I remember you mentioning looking for a used one.

My old carpenter boss used an elliptical because he had arthritis and a treadmill was too hard on his knees, he was 52-56 years old.

It would probably be easier on your back, especially the base of your spine.

They're low impact, so they're easier on the body all around. They're a bit more money than treadmills, but you can probably find a used one for a decent price.

I have bad knees - every time I'm late and run to catch the train, I pay for it with sore knees for a few days...and in my youth I used to run track and cross-country.

I have an elliptical machine in the basement - I should use it...
