it is chilly here today

 

where?..its about as sunny as it can get here near ottawa but a little nippy outside...I did 750k round trip yesterday to t.o....today is a pure pleasure day...at least after my house cleaning is done it will be

yesterday was a headache day.. Officially now a peanut butter allergy..

I have had way too much chocolate today, I feel sick. But, I am still determined to finish my hot chocolate..

my sister is the same way, she eat's it until she feels like she is going to throw up

i quasi-won a cutting competition today at the blacksmithing thing.. my friend made a knife for the competition, but his shoulder was messed up so he asked me if i wanted to do it. i had never been in one or practiced with a knife before. beginners luck i guess. chopped through a 2x4 in 12 seconds, in one swipe cut through 1" (25mm) rope free hanging. cut through 8 water bottles in a row in one swipe. cut through a can of spam, and about 3 other events. i had fun.

 

Bryan Cranston is on SNL, I think I'll watch it.

seen a blue jay almost every day this summer...first summer I ever seen them in this neighborhood

 

I just saw a blue jay yesterday for the first time this year. I spent most of the day with my niece, it was great. I took her for a walk along the river and she played in a big pile of red leaves. Then we made cookies when we came in. She's only 2 and a half and she's on this kick about not wanting to eat meat.
