Just drove 50 miles to visit with a sick friend.....

 

How did the race go?
My daughter ran track when she was in school. She didn't run cross country, she ran sprints... 100 meter, 200 meter, and the 4 by 100 meter relay...I went to all of her races...

Pardon me if this is a silly question, but apple pie with cheese

I decided to get the bus today to meet a friend for lunch, it's one bus. On the way there two old American women started asking me for directions to St Pauls and whether or not it's worth going inside, then on the bus back another two old American women started asking me for directions to Harrods. Do I look like a map?!

Random fact: I found it worthwhile to go inside St. Paul's Cathedral. And I still fondly remember sitting down to afternoon tea at Harrods.

I have never put cheese on my apple pie...

I don't have to mow this week, my grass is brown and crunchy from lack of rain...

 

I haven't mowed my lawn yet this year.

 

Ive watered my lawn three times, yet my yard looks the same as those who have watered all season.

I think a lot of what went on and came out of the 1960's drug culture was faked, fabricated, and/or blown out of proportion.

You have to remember, most everything that gets past on down through the generations is passed on through the media. The media twists things and makes things up all the time. The like to make things appear brighter, bigger, bolder and more fun than they really are. Sometimes they make things appear, darker, scarier, and smaller/less important than they really are.
