can americans in their posts stop writing ga and va and all these abrieviations for where they are please.....im english and have no idea what they mean, if i said i was from man nobody except manchester people or maybe people from england would know what i was talking about!

GA is Georgia, VA is Virginia

 

That's because we're used to them... although, I know a lot of abbreviations for more international things. It just becomes a habit, but I try to keep it in mind, sometimes.

 

GA is Georgia????? Firstly i didn't even know Georgia was a state, secondly by saying you don't have that sort of time..... GA = 2 letters Georgia = 7 letters thats a 5 letter difference....in fact the same number as the word HIPPY!
