In BC, Canada - 18 is the lames age ever. You can vote, but you can't drink. You can drive, but you can't go into sex shops with sex videos in them. You can't even get an Air Miles card. BC's age of majority is 19. So since Canada's age of majority is 18, you can do things that are covered under federal law at 18, but provincial things at 19. Grargh.
bleh. here you have to wait for a G1(permit basically...but.. way more nazi'd) till you're 16... and then unless you take the $600 driver's ed course, you have to wait a year to get your G2... terrible.
it costs like... 125 just for your G1 test.. and an extra 10 if you fail it for each additional test... then drivers ed, if you take it, 600... and 75 bucks for you G2 road test. :uhoh2:
age 14-15 was my worst years.. 17 has been alright, a little better than 16. the main reason why its been so good is cuz of my boyfriend. 5 months til 18....
Glad things are finally starting to work out for you. I guess things are starting to for me. In a few years I suppose I'll start to miss things.
hey, thanks im glad things are starting for you they're kinda stuck in pause for me i have found that you're pretty much screwed in life if you dont have a car
I thought 17 was pretty cool actually... Would have been better if I had my liscense though (didn't get it unitl just a few weeks before I turned 18). But still, i discovered a lot about myself in that year of my life.
