Not sure why that is in this thread exactly but anyway: did the article not mention why this dude in the weelchair was shot at in the first place? And if so, why do you not mention it? Is it more important that he was in a weelchair or that he was black? Do you think those were the most important reasons this happened?

The real problem is that that whole nation basically trolled itself. The scare level is so high that you absolutely MUST arrest this kid and no two ways about it.

    Whatever happened to common sense?

The reason for me bringing up the wheel chair story is racism in America, which I felt was behind the 14 year old clock kid matter. I try to follow the institutional race issues, like the black banker lady with the BMW being thrown in a mental institution, becase the cops thought a black woman could not own a BMW.

Interesting to see Qatar can take in cheap labour forces from Pakistand and India and people like this boy and his family but little to no refugees....

There are other ways to help besides taking in refugees..............

10/21/15 The Qatar Foreign Minister Dr Khalid bin Mohamed al-Attiyah said:

"Anything that protects the Syrian people we will not spare any effort to carry it out with our Saudi and Turkish brothers, no matter what this is”

"If a military intervention will protect the Syrian people from the brutality of the regime, we will do it," he added.

Al-Attiyah also said Qatar preferred to solve regional crises through direct political dialogue.

  8. Well after being treated so horribly, scarred for life from the constant beatings and torture (especially meeting the president for doing basically nothing), it's no wonder he wants to move to a more peaceful nation. I doubt he'll run into any bigoted police or school officials in Qatar. And he'll be able to have many wives and slaves there, unlike the nasty old primitive US. This whole story was bullshit from the start. It's amazing to me how lies are so readily celebrated these days. Just try to take his "creation" on a commercial plane.

Well, he and his family got a taste of American bigotry and decided to got try it in Qatar. If that place works out for them, all the better.

Sounds like you HAVE NOT BEEN to Qatar. Slavery is not legal there. He can have several wives, just like the Jews do in Israel. And polygamy is legal in Israel.

From the Pig Pen to the Sand Box, what a strange trip for that kid, wouldn't you agree?

  14. I have and you have not done your homework. Try something simple like Wikipedia. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_rights_in_Qatar

"Qatar has sponsorship laws, which have been widely criticized as "modern-day slavery." Under the provisions of Qatar's sponsorship law, sponsors have the unilateral power to cancel workers' residency permits, deny workers' ability to change employers, report a worker as "absconded" to police authorities, and deny permission to leave the country. As a result, sponsors may restrict workers' movements and workers may be afraid to report abuses or claim their rights, which contribute to their forced labor situation."

You may not LIKE this being presented, but it is entirely accurate. I have seen slaves with my own eyes in the last couple of years in the middle east and Africa. Sure, the narrative is not pleasant to listen to, but you seem to want to wrap a pillow around your head till the mean people go away. Qatar is deeply devoted to Sharia law, so the women there live like slaves as well. Their testimony in court is equal to half that of a man IF they are allowed to testify at all.

You can call me a racist if it makes you feel better!

Why do you say it's a scam? The white bigots of Texas did persecute the boy, did they not? The white FOX news talking bigots did bad-mouth the 14 year old boy, did they not?

You don't understand what you read. Nearly all countries in the world take your passport when you go to work there, and even when you check into a hotel. All White Christian countries in Europe take your passport when you check into a hotel, or work there. That is not modern day slavery. It is servant related laws. America has more laws than any other nation on earth. America is the least free nation on earth. The most free nation is the one with the least laws. Qatar happens to fall somewhere in the middle. America is somewhere at the bottom of the freedom scale. It is clearly at the bottom of the education scale. By the way I don't rely on wikipedia. I get my information from Colorado State University.

Most Americans think they are smart and superior just because they have white skin. I think they are bigots of a particularly low order.

    No, you think that.

    what color is your skin?
Why are you not counted among these evil Americans?
If it is that horrible, you can always move to Qatar.

I've already been to over 50 countries. I suggest you go to Qatar and see the place for your self.
