I do not know about other locations, however, here in the greater Los Angeles area CVS is a pharmacy. <(^o^)>
The thrift store. That place needed to clean their carpet... Uggghh. No regrets, though. I washed with soap and water.
the giant warehouse of a grocery store winco has a big red sign outfront thats says.. "shirt and shoes required by law" i muttered ..'bullshit' under my breath... walked in.. grabs a few food items.. had no problems at all.. paid and left.
LOL I have trouble with that word also. Thank god for google. I would not be able to spell at all if not for google.
Well, Booga the corrected sentence is "If it weren't for spell check, wow, you'd all notice my California education!" It is so unfortunate that the education system in California can so poorly perform its function for a brilliant and beautiful person such as yourself. But you do have the Golden Gate Bridge, Venice Beach, Haight-Ashbury and Hollywood.
Ironic isn't it, that the American pronunciation policy of trying to stay as close to phonetic pronunciation as possible with words such as library, military, laboratory, and strawberry should lead to confusion about how to spell the word in the first place.
I believe the confusion raises from the fact that, no matter what the "rule" is, a lot of people still mispronounce those words. Along with the fact that, apparently, the school system has given up teaching the correct spelling of words a long time ago.
