I'm not a golfer, but I "played" some in college years ago Mostly it was an excuse to drink beer and work on our tans. As soon as we were out of sight of the clubhouse, we'd peel off our shirts and shoes and start soaking up the rays. The marshalls stopped us on several occasions. Their only comment was to put on our shirts; the didn't seem to care about the bare feet. Then again, that was 20+ years ago on a college golf course.
Okay, time to add more from my list. Again, apologies if I repeat myself or some else. I was down to the "Q's" Quizno's
Target (I was denied service in one store, and roamed all over another without comment - go figure! I think once you've got items in your cart they're more reluctant to stop you. They know they're turning away a definiate sale then.)
Wendy's Okay, that's the end of my list. Over about 2-3 months (September 2008 when I joined this forum till it got too cold (late October/early November)), I recorded 104 different businesses locations, public buildings, etc. I visited barefoot. This does not include any repeat visits to the same location. The only time I had a problem was at one Target store as noted. In many cases, I got positive reactions or better-than-expected service.
Did you seem to get a faster turnaround time because of that? Perhaps you should never wear shoes to the shoe repair shop so that they know you really need 'em repaired quickly!
