It began 10 years ago today with the theatrical release of Iron Man.

And the first 2/3 of that movie is still probably the best they have done

Haven't seen Winter Soldier, I take it.

  4. Eh...kind of ignoring Ghost Rider and all that rubbish. Let's just pretend that doesn't exist I guess, eh?

I think Marvel is doing an excellent job. So much better than DC. It's sad, because Marvel is just kind of fun...that's their schtick, while DC got it perfect with the Nolan Batman series. DC could be so much darker and heavier than Marvel. It's disappointing. Instead they're just trying to copy Marvel at this point.

Ditto. I've been really entertained; especially "Guardians of the Galaxy"! and "Logan". Can't remember which other ones I've enjoyed actually. But I didn't dislike any of them. I suppose if I must be a critic... Scarlett Johansson didn't need to be Black Widow. She's a very good Major though (from "Ghost in the Shell"; loved that movie).

Films like Ghost Rider and Logan are not technically part of the MCU, although they are Marvel.

I’ve enjoyed them, but I don’t take it too seriously. I always loved Marvel .
Logan was really fantastic, even if I was a bit disappointed they didn’t follow Laura’s story closer to the comics. The young lady did a fantastic job of portraying a young X-23.
I hope they do more. Her story is the only comics that have made me cry. Lots of potential there.

  8. I've enjoyed most of them. The only one I can think of that stands out that I really didn't like was X-Men Apocalypse. Captain America: Civil War was my favorite so far.

  10. I've never been a big fan of Captain America either. I like Spiderman and X-Men more myself, but Civil War was a really good movie.

If Marvel hadn't made the vast majority of their movies decent I would've been rather surprised. I mean with all of the material they had to work with to get their new plane off the ground they had no excuse to produce bad movies.

I've only seen Thor Ragnorok and Black Panther.

Thor was funny and I loved Cate Blanchett as the villain, but, meh...these movies aren't really my thing.

I remember watching Black Panther and only being concerned with the very limited storyline about him and his ex girlfriend. I wanted to know more about their relationship, what had happened, what they wanted now, etc. I always check out during the big fight scenes.

What do the Ghost Rider movies have to do with the Marvel Cinematic Universe?

I thought that "Logan" had one of those little Marvel intro segments. Ok, I will take your word for it...
