i prefer screamin' jay hawkins version of "i put a spell on you" to nina simones.

 

I never can choose a favourite version of that song, CCR and Arthur Brown's takes on it are superb as well.

 

The first couple are easy; they have been and probably will be my faves for a while. The rest sort of rotate out or move around the list.
