$1.8 Trillion lawsuit filed by Getty Images against AI Company

In what may become the biggest lawsuit in history, Getty Images just accused Stability AI of stealing its copyrighted images and altering them, blurring their logo. Getty claims they trained their AI on their archive of millions of images. Suing for $150,000 per image, the total comes to $1,800,000,000,000.

This could pour cold water on the AI community's unfettered access to everyone else's copyrighted material, including what everyone posts on this website!
