Like a photo of a dog with an expression that on a human would be disgust, but actually is just a split second expression caught on camera.. Dumb caption like "I told my dog blah blah and this is how he looked at me"

The kind of thing that makes idiots want to own animals like accessories.

60 Vintage Photos of Nurses Being Awesome - NurseBuff

I have nothing against a little fun and good moral but this is scary.

"As you may have guessed, the floors in a hospital are going to be among the dirtiest places of all. Germs and bacteria from one room can be easily tracked all around the hospital through continuous foot traffic."

Where Are the Dirtiest Places in Your Hospital?
    www.afflink.com › blog › where-are-the-dirtiest-places-in...

A real doctor would never ever put both hands on a hospital floor like. And the others look on like its nothing.

She yells out coronavirus wile doing it too.

    That was scary to watch.

I really hope that incompetence is not the norm these days.

Who ever that was should be written up by their supervisor and made to take all the infection control classes over again.

"Germs on hospital room floors can move rapidly to high-touch surfaces and then healthcare worker hands, thus making dirty hospital floors more of an infection risk than previously thought, according to a study in the American Journal of Infection Control.

Researchers cultured 318 floor sites from 159 patient rooms in five Cleveland-area hospitals, as well as gloved and bare hands and other high-touch surfaces like clothes, call buttons and medical devices.

They found floors often were contaminated with methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus and VRE, as well as Clostridium difficile, which was the pathogen most frequently found on floors.

Hospital floors could transmit germs more easily than ...

Tiktok is owned by bytedance, which is owned by a guy named Zhang. but he doesn’t control it, Bytedance released a statement years back apologizing to the Chinese government for not policing content well enough, Through Weibo. . after your girls of 14 were competing to be the youngest one to get pregnant, Or something like that. this did not reflect well on the Chinese people according to the government there. They apologized and would do better in presenting the Chinese people in the correct light. Basically content is government controlled. other companies like this in China echoed Zhongs exact statements, like Kuaishou. For allowing ”social ills” to be shown. These companies are now directly overseen by central State Council.

I think it's more cabin fever and wanting to go out when it's 90 degrees to beaches that have been closed in their prime month(s).

Perhaps a consequence of these tiktok videos portraying nurses "prancing around like idiots" to quote 6-eyed shaman maybe gives others the impression that there is an overreach with some of these policies and may make it seem like wearing masks and what not are arbitrary guidelines.

I agree with that, but, opening up the beaches like that, after lockdown, knowing that there was still a risk, common sense kind of could predict this happening too, no? How this opening things up again, how that would be seen by the people, you know? When my government opens up things again, I too will assume that it is because it is safe to do so. Were they told to continue to wear masks and keep distances?

this also could have been a practice run. Let’s do it, slap them on the wrist, close up again, then next time we open the people will not run out to the beach en masse. Lol. If they do they will wear their masks and be Leary of others...etc.

I know social distancing was still mandated. It could be people were straight up flouting social distancing rules but it also could be we don't know how many of those groups of people are family members in the same household already and I think it's difficult to gauge 6ft of distance from angled aerial photos.

Opening up the beaches just to close them again based on a disgruntled governor's assessment rather than any deterioriation of the situation comes off very China-esque to me.

in Canada 1 out 10 patients admitted to hospital contract hospital-acquired infections, and between 8,000 and 12,000 die per year from it. MRSA and C. difficile Are common here from hospital stays. MRSA is transmitted through touching dirty surface area, or skin to skin contact, dirty sheets. Etc... C. difficile is spread via surfaces or skin that have come in contact with feces infected with the bacteria. Dirty bathrooms not cleaned, even when you call for it to be cleaned up. You better have someone who can visit you as well, or if you are unable to get out of bed, you could find yourself laying in your own excrement for the night. Nurses won’t help. They overlook things like changing bed sheets and things like that here. If it isn’t soiled, it is fine kind of attitude. Bathing is also not something nurses will
    do.

If you need an assistant, hope there is a family member to help. Perhaps bring your own sheets too.

anyhow, it is a very dirty place, the hospitals here are.

But on a brighter note. picture from the 1918 flu epidemic.

The numbers that die from medical errors each year are staggering

Interestingly, the same excuses they use for the number of deaths from medical errors being overestimated are the same excuses for why they now overestimate Covid deaths

"A 2013 report in the United Kingdom, for example, found that while five percent of deaths in hospitals were deemed to be more than 50 percent preventable, more than half of these occurred in older and sicker patients who weren't likely to live longer than a year"

I just resent the no mask people that come into my local stores and speak spit on everything. Its just what happens when people talk little bits of spit come out normally who cares it doesn't matter but right now it does.

    Tisk tisk

And here we are, in a society where many people, including some in this thread, say that doctors and nurses deserve no scorn.

I certainly would be concerned for my life if it were left in the hands of the doctors and nurses in these TikToks

For doing such a dance in their off time. Indeed, you're in the minority about that. Deal with it.

Prime example of what used to take one or two people with hand tools fifteen minutes to handle and get back at it now taking dozens of people from multiple government agencies, vehicles, equipment, etc, putting business and travel on hold while they parade around and consult with each other... The ramifications of being a "wealthy" nation. :-/
