There is a programme called 'amazing spaces' - some brilliant homes similar/very different to the above. So wish I lived in a space like these. He does look kinda youthful.
He lives in a tree house like a little keebler elf. If that isn't a recipe for youth, I don't know what is. I like this house. It is equally as cool and cost a lot less. http://www.simondale.net/house/
Check this one out, this guy was the inspiration for the movie Fly Away Home. http://www.williamlishman.com/underground.htm
dude these homes are badass as shit. It is my new goal from this moment on i have to live in some place like these. Not really sure about that second one posted, isnt that shreks house? Lol. But ya itd take a lot of motivation to make some shit like that. Probly really rewarding feeling to live in after you made something so unique. But ya i will just hire a bunch a mexicans, mabey help them out with it a lil.
that tree hiouse cost 60 grand english dough? isnt that 120 grand in canadian dollars?....for 120 thousand i am quite sure i could do a way better house.... and what the hell is a ''log burner''.....is that a fireplace? or a woodstove? what does he call his toaster?..a bread browner.... you need a compost toilet in a tree or else you have no choice but to have a long tube to your tank...known to tree housers as the ''tube of poo'' and i imagine insurance is through the roof on a tree home...it could not possibly be practical financially and what about lightning?
The Druids would have approved :2thumbsup: I'd love to fix up my garage like that but its too costly hotwater
I'm using my works computer, so certain sites are blocked. If you go onto the 'amazing spaces' (channel 4 website) - you'll see some much better ones. The one above is more of a holiday home. It has some great features, though! There is a bath you can wheel out onto the patio area, that also doubles as a bed. That one was more to do with what you can do (for the purposes of a TV show) - more than anything else.
95,521 Canadian Dollars. By the looks of it, it wasn't designed to particularly eco-friendly. There are also: legal fee's, the cost of the land, bespoke items and a massive plasma TV to take into account. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...ing-treehouse-hot-tub-60in-TV-screen-Sky.html It's more of a novelty. I just posted it because I love seeing out of the ordinary homes. Especially when they are not massive eye-sores. More the ones with little bit of charm. Yes - pretty much. To be fair, it wasn't him. It's all plumbed in, and electrified. He isn't in the middle of know where. He's going to be charging £150-250 A NIGHT (239-339 Canadian Dollars)
It's nice, but check out Treehouse Workshop. http://www.treehugger.com/sustainable-product-design/the-treehouse-workshop-of-seattle.html America does it best.
