If you backcomb your hair to start dreads, chances are they'll fall out(the backcombing job, loosen up etc..) quite a bit before tangling back up...
I've got plenty (10months). I rather like em actually, they drain the water from your dreads so your hair dries faster - I think that's nifty. lol...
