heres what i think. keeping the bands on the tips of your dreads wont do anything. keeping the bands on your roots will keep any congo's from...
i went to a party last night. almost got forced into trying shit i didnt want to. bad experience.
the bands will get eaten by the dreads if u leave them in to long. and they start to melt also.
take the bands off and let your hair grow more.
when i had them backcombed i didnt really know anything about dreads and basically was just like every other white kid who wanted to get dreads...
at least to my nips. it was pretty long.
