Now we also need to abolish both the monarchy and the House of Lords, establish an elected second chamber and an elected President

 

it isn't the form of government, nor its ideology; its how considerate people are that makes the difference between a "utopian" heaven and a tyranical "hell".
not JUST of each other but of every blade of grass, mote of dust, and sub-atomic particle. and it doesn't liking people, or little furry creatures,
whether you think of them as people or not, or rocks or trees or what have your, to be considerate of all things, by which i mean, to take into consideration,
what kind of world, what our choices of priorities create when added up together.

politicians are a biproduct. all of hierarchy is sucked into existence by the vacuum that is created by believing the kind of world we experience living is somehow created by gods,
or is somehow simply magically just there. its us, and its our choice of priorities.

one thing we need is a lot less of humans crowding out everything else, which is most morally, logically and relatively painlessly, by lowering the human birthrate.

the goodness of the reality of the diversity of the possible, the goodness of the unknown being unknown, and that goodness and the desire to be feared being absolute binary opposites.
yes we can learn to be responsible as a species.

i'll grant i find the austentation of monarchy unaesthetic, and the way the british parliment carries on looks incredibly silly.
but the concept of a monarchy in parallel with a democratic government has, at least potentially, some positive uses,
like keeping the marks amused without having to elect a mafia don wannabe, who couldn't tell a truth if he wanted to, who's entire agenda was to distroy the government and the country,
which we had in the u.s. from 2016 to 2020.

of course, andy brexit cap, looked like something of the same sort of self oriented looney, neither of whom should never have been alowed anywhere near anything resembling authority of a dog catcher. the solution to that would be to make narcissism an absolute disqualifier to "run/stand" for any public office. this would make more sense then anything as arbitrary as a person's age.

civilization/utopia, is when the dominance of aggressiveness, especially of aggressive inconsideratness, is prevented.

freedom is not the freedom to rob others of theirs, but to express creative imagination in harmless ways without the distraction of requiring permission of every loony fanatic and conspiracy theorist.

 

To answer the thread question

Utopian world/planet wide imo?.......everybody having food/water,roof...........healthcare, education...........electricity, ect ect.

And equality around the world/planet in these things...........take those worries away from people, they have time to ponder/think about other things and develop there brain...develop a better consciousness.

If you know startrek lore, that is not far off imo

well i've always felt we just need to stop hating logic and consideration, logic in the service of universal consideration, not merely in what we wish, or even merely claim to wish, which is all too often, but in how we choose to act. and instead of ideology or belief, any ideology or belief, to do for us, what it takes developing the culture of.

its not something that can't happen or never has. the popular deception that we can't, is an obsticle we have created ourselves against our doing so. needlessly and on no basis.
we have people who come along every once in a while, like trump, who think their doing the world a favor to convince people of that, for the sake also of what they mistake to be some kind of gain. but we don't have to buy into their lies either.

 

agreed we need classes for human relationship and how to be in relationships, most people suck at it really and instead of working on themselves a lot think the other is the problem to end the relationship and realize that those same issues follow them into the next relationship if unaware and unhealed.

 

It's not my vision, but the only way something close to utopia can be created is for there to be no humans involved. The creatures that end up as meat for carnivores might not ever think that there is a utopia.

 

The imaginary world depicted in John Lennon's song 'Imagine' would be a great template. We would have to wipeout a lot of institutions and the people who own and control them as well as all the wannabes who want to be the next king of the hill or at least their sycophants and power worshippers. I believe Utopia is for those who can afford it and are psychopathic or sociopathic enough to not care who they trample to achieve their idea of bliss and peace on earth. I think all of us lesser mortals merely exist to service them and entertain them. They apparently love a good horror show and the world is their chessboard.
