Watched this for 30 seconds thinking "what does this have to do with harry potter"

When I read the name I was thinking Daniel Radcliff.

One night, Mrs McMillen answers the door to see her husbands best friend, Paddy, standing on the doorstep.

"Hello Paddy, but where is my husband? He went with you to the beer factory"

Paddy shook his head. "Ah Mrs McMillen, there was a terrible accident at the beer factory, your husband fell into a vat of Guinness stout and drowned"

Mrs McMillen starts crying. "Oh don't tell me that, did he at least go quickly?"

Paddy shakes his head. "Not really - he got out 3 times to pee!"

Yes you can. Chicken soup or bouillon is the way to go there. We even call these chickens 'soup chickens' here, as that's their best purpose at that point (not dog chickens ;))

i think a lot depends on breed too, right? thats why i want dual purpose birds. our friend has more than he is technically allowed, but lives in a less restrictive area. i think we are getting rhode island reds and buff orpingtons since most of his flock is made of those.
we are only allowed 6 hens. coop has to be 4 sq ft/ hen. if we enclose them in a run it needs to be 20 sq ft/ hen. i know the birds dont NEED that much, but i see it as being prepared to double the flock if necessary, so its not a huge deal.

its supposed to get chilly later, and maybe rain. so heres my plan for the day:
    * do the dishes from yesterday- we had a friend and his son over last night. it was last minute, so i told hubby if he got the ingredients i would make the food. i made burgers. i make really good burgers, and i didnt even cry this time!
    * scour down some of the cast iron pans that need it, and reseason them
    * while oven is hot prop open garage door and start tearing into that mess.

i hate having the whole clean-up-for-installation job on my shoulders... but i dont have much of a choice but to do it. so im gonna. but im also going to complain about it until its all done and settled and i can move on to other things. i started gathering hubby's clothes together, and i think the sight of it paralyzed him. i have no idea how to get him to go through his stuff. i might just start making executive decisions, and let him deal with it when hes ready.

Every old scrawny chicken that was held for eggs makes a fine soup chicken at some point.

Besides, we were always warned not to just watch the chicken claws if you feed chicken to your dog but also watch out for the bones! I have fed dogs chicken leftovers multiple times and only one time it went wrong and dog was seriously choking on a cracked chicken bone in its throat. It was nasty enough to not give it like that to them ever again :p
