Who Else Might Be Alone During Christmas, And Doesn't Really Care?

You find it rediculous to point out that you actulally believe that I cannot talk about Christmas unless it is Christmas?

 

How is he not more indifferent to christmas than you? You are at least so busy with it you bothered to make a thread about it.

Anyway, it seems the issue is not christmas on itself here but your relationship with your parents

 

for me, relationships are optional (if they happen at all). for someone else, to each their own.

getting together once in a while is ok. not mandatory, but ok.

what we call a day to make a reason for doing so, is considerably less important.

which brings up, almost every day, there is someone somewhere for whom its some kind of a special day.

i mean culturally. not just someone's own birthday. which is of course ok too.

i love that fine old expression: "they tried to kill us. we survived. lets eat."

 

Yes I made a thread about Christmas, she actually celebrated it. How does that make me more preocupied with Christmas. It literaly took me seconds to start it, but you so have a point. My family used to be everything for me, and I am not sure I can manage without them, despite their being poison.
