Really soft if you boil them long enough. I'm just kidding, I don't eat that shit anymore. They taste better not pickled though. Try you some- good ol southern cuisine

 

Getting to stand outside & watch the moon come up

 

I saw the movie A Quiet Place. It was awesome.

 

having slept soundly, having had good dreams, and waking up realizing i'm still alive.
haven't done anything else yet, other then to make breakfast, and get on the net to see what's going on the places i'm on regularly, furst fur affinity, then here.
haven't checked email yet.

 

My 3 yr old gave me this and said ,"mom, I made you when you were a kid..and it's raining!"

 

My dogs were in a particularly stupid mood today. Now if you have ever watched a golden retriever and a French bulldog wrestle you know why I spent the day laughing.

 

I processed two rolls of black and white film this evening and they both came out sweet.

I've reconnected with my oldest friend lately. Friends since 5th grade and we maintained a close friendship up until 3 or so years ago when we fell out of touch. Catching up with her makes me feel whole again, as cheesy as that sounds

 

there are two things that make me happy every day,

the wonder of strangeness being universal,

and that people CAN choose their priorities,
and thus the kind of world we all end up living in,
which results from their doing so.

every quiet moment, and every quiet sound that is not made deliberately by humans.

a train going be instead of a car, or even a car instead of a radio or television.

and of course the sounds made by other species, and the sounds made by wind and weather.

England made me happy today !

 

I am also on team anti drive-thru. I just like to go in, and I hate sitting, never mind sitting in my car if I don't have to. Trapped in my vehicle, waiting in a line of other people sitting in their cars, which are just burning gas, reminds me of everything wrong with America. Bah humbug.

 

Yes! Exactly. It's a bigger inconvenience than walking inside. Plus, I don't even now HOW to use the drive thru at the bank, and if it's fast food, I feel like the absolute least I can do before eating a completely unhealthy high-calorie meal is to get off my ass and walk inside to go get it.

The drive thru makes me feel like a pig waiting impatiently at the trough...

I try to avoid drive thru's because I have a fear of running out of gas in one. Makes me happy if there is Nobody in the drive thru or just one car ahead because sometimes sucks having to get three kids all down to get food, and sucks even more being in a car with three kids in a long drive thru line..

 

What made me happy today ? Dang, well, actually just went thru drive thru. Got veggie burger and kids meals with pb &j. Only one car ahead of me.

 

Got my 3 month AA chip today.
