it's the opposite for me. i have 8 vacation days i need to use before the end of the year and the second half of december is super slow for me anyway, so i'll be hardly working after this week. then january comes and i won't have time to think for a month or two.

 

I Just trying to inject some humor although it is a sad state of affairs up in New Hampshire with hundreds of heroin overdoses every month.

It's taken me a long time tonight to get over being upset with that neighbor...again.

My damn son went over and talked to her today to see if it was cool that he still let his chihuahua run around without a leash. She told him all kind of lies about me that pissed me off.

She wasn't gone 30 minutes from talking to him before I saw her over at his house.

I'm put out with both of them.

I think she's got about until the 4th of January to pay the fine on that citation or go to court. Hubby and son said they heard $250 mentioned.

That thought keeps me happy.

My son isn't worried about making peace for the sake of peace. He's worried about actually having to walk his dog instead of just opening the door and letting the dog go out by himself.

I wouldn't be in this mess if it weren't for my son. Emma was his dog up until a few years ago.

Well I didn't want to burn the place down lol.

 

We just had a sonic boom in a big part of this area, or an earthquake.

Holy Shit.

I felt the earth shake, the dishes rattled, then BOOM!

911 doesn't know what it was and the neighborhood watch groups on facebook are lighting up like crazy.

 

We had an earthquake here a few years ago, really just a tremor. It was one of the strangest sensations i've ever felt.

 

Santa Ana winds in full effect right now.

 

explosions dont bother me anymore...i live above a whole bunch of deep mines ..

felt a few earthquakes...they are similar to mine blasts but more drawn out ....

 

been through a few earthquakes.
it is all fine for the first 15 seconds, but when it starts hitting 30 seconds+ I start to get concerned.

We are waayyyy overdue for a big one around here.....

 

It was a Sonic Boom from the Warner Robbins AFB. They are 85 miles from me and my dishes shook.

We have to expect these at 11:30 a. m. or 3:30 p.m. all week.

It was a horrible, frightening experience.
