I entered the argument because I only argue about things I'm going to win, so when I read you can't take certain literature seriously, I knew that all I needed was like, 0.00001% of 0.0000000000011% of poems to be historically accurate to prove that statement wrong. so I won.

Arguing with me is like a good game of chess. I've got traps, forks and a whole strategy for an argument I enter.

Ay, sometimes you got to be full of yourself when no one else is going to listen. You've basically now agreed with me saying that certain historic literature is valid, but somehow maintain an agenda against me over the fact I was correct in the first place.

So either I'm full of myself or you're too pig headed to acknowledge you may have been wrong.

And I'm not trolling, I'm literally dropping truth bombs and y'all now like, oh well, yeah I guess some ancients texts have validity so you're right on that.. But still fuck you because you didn't agree with me in the first place.

Like I said, I'd have never bothered arguing on a topic I knew nothing about. But I did know a little about it, and I actioned my response on what I did know. Then I researched it a little on the internet and I clarified what I'd already known. I then went and browsed through my Eddas just to make sure. And when I knew I had a concrete argument, I explained it the best I could to an audience that didn't want to listen. Like I said only the smallest fraction percentage of literature had to considered historical evidence to stomp down the whole 'can't take poems seriously' so it no longer matters because the original statement to Aeri that whatever she read has to be incorrect on the grounds it's a poem is just a rubbish. I know what it's like too often to never be taken seriously for the things you personally feel and believe and I didn't want Aeri to have to go through the same experiences with you guys. It's unfair and I will stick up for her.

And you know what? Maybe whatever Aeri did read is all hokus pokus, but it doesn't mean that everything else is, is pretty much what I'm trying to argue. Like not everything else, but history written in poetry I mean. That form of literature. It's not all lies and fantasy, some of it does actually hold ground.

Seems to me we're all in agreeance of that. Nobody was arguing the opposite.

No one is really contesting whether poems can be relied upon for accurately depicting historical events, but whether they can be relied upon to prove lineage for genealogical purposes. Irmi is arguing something totally different than what everyone else is arguing and I dont think anyone has even disagreed with her.so yeah she's right about what she's talking about, but we were talking about something else.
