another possibility i like, is to decorate a live little tree out in the yard if you have a yard.
that's what we did, when my wife was alive and we were living in a place that had one.
a couple of little pines self started, seeds that blew in from somewhere when i wasn't looking.
kept the tops kind of semi-bonasiad to keep the roots from attacking the foundation.

 

I like to decorate with the bones of my enemies.

Today is the anniversary of meeting my husband 21 years ago.

My personal design solutions business that I just started, is taking off much more quickly than I ever imagined!
I'm so busy trying to juggle my business and my 42 hr work week at my regular job. This has honestly been my first few hours of me time that I had in 10 days.

Also, for Christmas Eve dinner, we're having Chinese. When I was growing up, the tradition my stepmom started, was we'd have a traditional dinner Christmas Day, but Christmas Eve, everybody got what they wanted. My dad would have a steak or something, my stepmom always wanted prosciutto and fancy bread, my little sister would have, like, pancakes, etc. etc.

So this year, I've decided I want Chinese for Christmas Eve dinner

 

I cant afford it yet lol so nothing is set in stone..but I am looking at either the Scandanavian countries or Netherlands/Belgium/Germany (wanna hang?) Or Italy/Switzerland. Or the UK maybe, a return to the motherland. Depends on what kinda deals I can find next year

Haha in my village the chinese restaurant was always stuffed on christmas and the day after christmas (we dutchies actually have a second christmas day, because we couldn't invent more proper reasons for a holiday yet we needed some more)
In my teens me and some friends went along with this tradition and always reserved a table on second christmas day... being in a party mood we rarely went in sober. Lol some of these visits should be turned into a stoner movie. It would be an instant classic I tell you! :-D

It's pretty much common knowledge Santa Clause and his practice of delivering presents through chimneys is based on st. Nicolas

 

I would be angry if you visited my country without visiting me. I'm even willing to travel to the other side of my country for it if I have to!
