I'm starting on nicotine lozenges tomorrow in a last ditch attempt to quit smoking. They only cost £7 for 72, which is much cheaper than using the vape. I didn't get on with the vape.

 

Good luck! I've used the gum before. I also used the patches the first time.

 

These ones you suck. So there is that oral pacifier thing, plus something to do with your mouth.

 

I have done vaping and also cold turkey. I don't remember which one was easier, but I was young - the first time I don't remember how old, second time 31 or so and that was with an electronic stogie.

 

Cold turkey is the only way to go in my opinion. If you're using lozenges or vaping you are still addicted to nicotine. Cold turkey is the only way to break the addiction

 

Have you successfully quit smoking? I ask because I remember you were trying a few years ago.

 

I have. I actually havent been a daily smoker since I was 20 or so, but I struggled for a long time with smoking when drinking and in social situations. So I wasnt really trying to break a physical habit when I talked about it on here, more of a psychological one. But I dont have that problem anymore because I don't drink often and when I do I'm not really around smokers. No one smokes anymore. Thank goodness.

 

Broncos gotta fire this coach. I really liked him early in the year but now his players fighting, penalties left right and centre and then, they put arguably their best QB on the roster in and make gains in the game. Like ffs. They'd lost 3 games and decided to replace him only to not win another 4 and then put him in less than half the game to go and they start moving the football. Gotta sack this coach. He had players braking during Thanksgiving practice too.cant control his team, can't control his game.. Can't coach.

 

Going cold turkey from nicotine that's been a all day habit for decades is really difficult on a person.

 

Buy a vape. and just go to like 2 or 4mg.

Drove home today early in the morning...Stop at a rest stop on the turnpike and the line for gas was 6 cars deep with no parking and the line for the women's room was at least 10 deep. Spent the rest of my time there trying to figure out why it's so busy. As I drove away I realized it was the last day of Thanksgiving weekend and I was at the first stop after Philadelphia.

 

i have the patch on, but still smoke before bed cause I take it off, and the smoking keeps me from coughing all damn night.. smoking way way to much weed to compensate..
