What's Happening?

armistice day. world war one has ended.

 

lol. being retired, i only find clocks useful when waiting for a bus. to know how soon which one is going to be there.
don't get me wrong, i have plenty to do and enjoy doing it, but i am totally greatful that only things like shopping when the stores are open and the buses running,
are the only things that depend upon what time of day it is.
(of course its nice to go for walks while the sun is up, and be home before it goes down. but i don't exactly need a clock for that either)

 

i dislike needing the time ..

 

Trying to decide when to go over to my sisters house.

 

is that close to your house?> have u any heat this winter? .
all I have is the electric and kerosene .. gf is complaining its cold. ive a tshirt on and leggings. I dont think its cold. there is no wind ripping the heat out the house either.

 

plenty good warm inside.
outside is cool enough for a light jacket, even when there's sun,
but only one day yet so far cold enough for a heavy coat,
and that's without cold enough to need undershirts or additional layers.

 

Went to a dance party last night. Met an old buddy from high school. He introduced me to his girlfriend, who I found out was a girl I used to play with as a child. My family had a small piece of land next to her family’s. It was on a piece of lakeside property on a private road few people have access to. Later on, they sold their estate to my crazy uncles. Meeting up with her and talking about that place was a heavily emotional moment for both of us :,)

I really want to bring her back there to her old house. And show her the old place and how little it’s changed.

Meanwhile my high school friend is baffled by all of this.

About to go get coffee from one of the best coffee places I've ever been, mmm its so fucking delicious and they're so simple too, they dont have all those basic bitch coffee options like Starbucks.

Then I'm going to walk around town on this cool, rainy Autumn day. This is my absolute favorite type of weather

 

Damn there's guns going off all around me...it's quieter in Syria than at my place.

I put to much water in the cream of wheat. I ate about half of it but now Emma gets some warm cream of wheat, egg, butter, and cheese.

 

I've had days like that around here...

Not today though. There was only one idiot shooting at nothing today.

 

Thats the only good thing about living in city limits now, my old neighbor used to wake me up at 7 am every Saturday shooting some kind of loud ass rifle. It was obnoxious

Although I hear gun shots here occassionally and that's even more disturbing. When you hear shots in the country you assume someone is hunting or having target practice, when you hear shots in the city you wonder who just shot their wife or some other fucked up scenario

 

My kitchen is in total disarray.

I started rearranging everything like a week ago and just got stuck. I couldn't decide what to do so I did nothing.

Today, I'm moving stuff around, and around, and around...

Why did I ever start this mess?

 

I try to be really tolerant of all the nonsense that my neighbors might be doing. But if there's a chance of violence, I think I'd better draw the line and say.. "Hello, Police? I think I just heard gunshots."

 

My kitchen gets like this too and I have a pretty large kitchen apparently but one whole bench is always cluttered with shit. From the post box to bloody whatever. Seems to be the dumping ground and itooks so white and spacious when it's clean. For one day a fortnight.

 

I hate having to shoot practice because it cost so much. today I took the lady out shooting and that cost $+ in ammo. high power, shotgun, pistols, semi automatic assault rifles, and two black powders now shes coughing from the smoke of the BP cause I did a few cloth wads .. just a big puff of smoke. she almost got sliced up on the slide of the handgun because she wants to hold it wrong. but she did very well. 3006 blew her mind its so loud, the loudest of all..
sometimes you hear black powder hunters, unloads their rifles.. since the rifle is primed, they havent seen a deer. They put the slug into the ground. go home...

 

I think I'm going to give my son some ammo for xmas.
