What is a true statement?

I agree that there is an objective reality. Which brings us back to "What are some truths?" therefore.

 

I've heard of people living off of sunlight before.

 

A statement based on evidence and supported by experiment can be regarded as true.

 

Good enough for me, although I'd have to acknowledge that we could be brains in a jar and that our "reality" is virtual--a computer generated, matrix style, mirage. I'm betting it isn't.

 

Can't run without legs

 

But what if you get prosthetic legs and you are able to run. Have you then moved to a different multiverse compared to where you do not have prosthetic legs and then the truth of the statement of not being able to run is then not real? (I'm trying to sound like a deep thinker like other members, not sure if it worked?)

Truth is the greater context which all oracles bow down to, for it is the greater context of the truth which decides everything, by merely lending its meaning to everything unconditionally.
