    what I'm 'going to be eating' in a few minutes, when it comes out of the oven. chicken pot pie with homemade crust (using a non-reactive for my celiac flour) total crust enclosure too, none of that 'just the top' nonsense.

    a can of gf chicken in broth, take the broth, add butter, poultry seasoning and cornstarch, take the now gravy, add the chicken and some frozen mixed veg, dump into the crust lined pan, cap it off, and into the oven.

    yeah, even if this one's a bit cheaty.. ideally I'd have taken the chicken in the freezer, cooked it in the oven, or maybe even the smoker, then taken the bones and made stock, and from there gone the rest of the way with it, but.. good enough for today (since I'm actually feeling like poo and having a 'short spoons' day)

    I had a ribeye. Medium. With garlic aioli. Chased with a diet coke and an apple (red delicious).

    My elementary school took field trips to the Jelly Belly Factory once a year. I remember it being a pretty momentous occasion.
