I'm going to make salmon stew later. I've never had it so I have no idea if I'll like it but life is about taking chances! So apparently salmon stew is a popular southern dish? Which is weird to me because salmon is a pacific northwest thing. But a bunch of people at work were talking about it the other day and I was the only one who had never had it. So that shall change today
Just cooked up a turkey Pharma curry (Korma indian curry with Phal curry powder with onions and peppers)........drooooooooools! Gonna eat it with some nice thick takeaway chippies.
I'm making Cube Steak and Gravy in the crock pot. I haven't decided if I want rice or potatoes with it. I don't think I have anything green. I need to go to the grocery store one day.
Just curious, does it work best when it is slightly stale? I've heard others talk about preparing cornbread several days before thanksgiving and I was wondering if that is why
I'm just following my wife's instructions. She has a broken arm, so I'm doing the cooking this year. She always cooks the cornbread a couple of days early and leaves white bread out to get stale before mixing both in her dressing. So I guess a little stale is preferred.
just finished my favorite midnight snack- Ramen Noodles (Beef), with a thick slice of velveeta cheese melted into it, and some cayenne. Fuckin' A!
