Protesting peacefully is our right.

NYPD got a lot of bad rep for the way they treated protesters during Occupy. They were too heavy-handed during that.

They resent repression? Just repress their resentment of said repression, what could go wrong?

Waiting for the copycat. They won't be copying the crime, they'll be copying the fame. And know what? It will be entirely the fault of the police who are throwing a giant cowardly hissy fit and acting like two individuals who share their profession being shot (keep in mind the tremendous number of people shot in the US - they're not special, or under some sort of huge attack) justifies their past and future wrongs, and like they're in a war with the public. They are creating a warring mindset.


When the next cop gets murdered, remember, it is the fault of the sputtering self-rightious cowards who are being given a megaphone in this case. They will incite police to act in rash and scared ways that lead to acts of brutality (and that behavior by police will cause the general public to feel further alienated and wronged by police), and they will inspire more nutjobs to kill more cops - and the cycle will repeat and amplify.

 

I don't think he can enjoy fame now.

-shooter has criminal recod
-shooter has no education bec. he dropped out of school
-shooter used drugs
-shooter lived off crime AND welfare
-shooter was black

Killing someone that is cuffed...for self defense? WHAT self defense?

 

NYC Police have reacted with a work slow-down, arrests are way down.

The NY Times is admonishing them to get back to doing their jobs.

Understand it is the police union taking the activist stand, not the officers of the force. Events are better understood through the lens of union activism.

 

They won't call it a hate crime because of the skin color of the shooter.

I grew up in a black area in Boston, was told hundreds of times that only whites can be racists. Saying it doesn't make it true, but that's that mentality driving a lot of this nonsense now.
